First wash since buying the truck back in August. I forgot how good the paint on this truck is. That’s just a wash, no wax or even drying. Just left to air dry. Such a shame because it will all get ruined soon. Thinking about a wrap now. 🤔

New wheel/tire combo for my 2013 LX... been lurking around for a while trying to figure out sizes and decided to take the jump to 285/75/17. Wheels are new Icon Vector 5. Loving it so far, had to remove the front mud guards and still have some minor rubbing that I'll have to correct. I have AHC lift on the front, will likely do the rear soon.

Here it is on H:

@BragaLX - The stance of your LX is perfect; the wheels/tires give it a real Arctic Trucks look. OEM aesthetics and beefy, but not too over-the-top.

How have the spacers held up? Did you do any cutting or trimming of the wheel well?

It’s filthy right now, we’ll it usually is but just picked it up with the new 18” Evo Corse and Cooper AT3XLT LT285/65/18’s. No rub at all left all flaps on. Tires ride nice and quiet. Can’t wait to get them dirty. Pics are in AHC High.
Those look great! do you have to run any spacers for the wheels?

Blacked out most of the rear chrome recently and loving it. Going to black out all the side trim as I find time.

Just FYI- I figured pulling the trim off would make it easier to paint, but turns out leaving it on is easier!

I used a whole can on the rear logo and side trims.

Going to attack the rear bling next. Then, maybe the front grill. I'm going to buy the LC window trims, but I think the 3rd row has to get dipped.

Anything we can do about the door handles?

Hi all,
First post of my LX with some before and after of the chrome delete. Kept the “L”chrome front and back and blacked everything else out. Swapped tires out for 285/65/20 Nitto Grapplers, removed spoiler and runners.
(Spoiler hits the roof top box)
Love all the trucks keep the posts coming in.

Did you do all with plasti dip?

I had the panels on the doors and the chrome accents on the rear and side windows vinyl wrapped, Had the Handles,Grille,Wheels and Roof Rack custom painted. The Chrome pipping down the side under the windows is the least clean and already the most chipped. I also think the LC part for the window in Black is the best choice for addressing that need again. Or let that piece remain chrome to pop the bolts on the wheels maybe. The vinyl there is holding on enough just notice the chips when I am close. Glad I had the door handles, grille and rack painted.

I wrapped the handles and dipped other parts(Grill, Fog Light surrounds, door guards, Rear Lexus L, top hatch chrome, and wheels. I am going to replace the window trim with that from the LC. Not sure if I'll dip or wrap the chrome around the taillights.
