285/75/17 sounds like a nice 34” option in c rating. Unless you tow no reason to go e. unless the c only has two ply sidewall.
That size in a C rating is a fantastic option IMO. I'd rock it if I had a set of 17" wheels on hand.

I had the Toyo AT3s and BL, didn't like them. I'll post a longer review in the tire thread, but in a nutshell IMHO the marketing is all hype. I had E-rated LT275/65R18s and my main beefs were weak tires (first puncture in 13yrs on a gravel road, rock through the side of a tread block and 1/2 hole inside the tire), treads torn to hell after my first off-road excursion, sucked in snow (though not my intended use), and the sidewall tread is decoration only (literally printed on the tire and not more than 1/16" relief, the pics online deliberately make it look more aggressive than it is).Looks great. Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the club!
One note: Toyo released Open Country AT3 this past March. All (limited) reviews and marketing materials suggest a big improvement over the AT2 you ordered. Suggest you change that order to the AT3 while you can. I've got the exact same size (in AT3) on the way myself, and my own LX is currently at the dealer for an AHC flush, drivetrain greasing, and a whole bunch of other work.
// edit: ah shoot, I misread and see that the AT2s are already on the car. edit//
PS. Proper pics of that pup or instant ban!![]()

Tried to take advantage of Toyo's 45 day/ 500 mi guarantee and it's a joke. They wouldn't do it because the tires were plus size on my vehicle and not OEM. They also gave me crap for airing down 15% on gravel roads. Seriously?? Discount Tire tried with them as well and also had a bad experience, so they just ate the return.
...Bottom Line...What is "BL"?
Shame about the plus-size excuse and airing down bs. Not that I ever expect to want to take advantage of their "trial" period, but who knows...
To shift the subject to the roof from tires who can chime in on the best roof rack? Pics of your rigs would be appreciated for sure....Bottom Line...

New wheel/tire combo for my 2013 LX... been lurking around for a while trying to figure out sizes and decided to take the jump to 285/75/17. Wheels are new Icon Vector 5. Loving it so far, had to remove the front mud guards and still have some minor rubbing that I'll have to correct. I have AHC lift on the front, will likely do the rear soon.
Here it is on H:

Blacked out most of the rear chrome recently and loving it. Going to black out all the side trim as I find time.

Stock. Particularly the LC 3 legged rack. Seriously. It may not look overland, but it's likely more durable than most of the aftermarket stuff. The side rails are big beefy castings. The extruded rail is dimensionally stronger as it's not just a simple tube or cut to shape sheet that most aftermarket is. The cross rails are aerodynamic in profile. Sure, they are more flexy, but that's by design as flexible is more durable over time in many ways. Throw on a couple more factory rails and you've pretty much got a platform.
I do like the expo styling of some of the aftermarket stuff. The wind noise and significant MPG losses are deal breakers for me however.
Any more photos where we can see the wheels and tires a bit more clearly? Gorgeous.
New here. I have been a Toyota fan for quite a while. Started with a Tacoma in high school then bought my first new vehicle when I graduated college, a 2008 Toyota Tundra. Still have the Tundra and couldn't be happier with the reliability. Had my first child in February and decided I needed something a little more family friendly. I've been eyeballing and researching LC's and LX's for a couple of years now. Judging prices based on mileage and condition etc. Ran across this 2013 LX570, with 126k miles that an older gentleman traded in at the local dealership. The windshield was cracked, the tires were bald, the interior had a few stains in the carpet, but the exterior was immaculate. Dealer wanted to send to auction vs putting on the lot for resale. Decided to bite the bullet and couldn't be happier with the deal that I got and the truck's plush suspension and the same reliable 5.7 that I've enjoyed in my Tundra. Thank you all for the useful information I utilized to make the decision. First things I had to do was replace the windshield and get some new tread. Went with 285/55/20 Toyo Open Country AT2. Flushed the AHC fluid, greased the driveshaft, and put some weathertech floor liners throughout to cover the stains. Truck looks and feels brand new now.

So you just cut your running boards...have sliders going on? May just be the angle but the AHC globes aren't too prevalent it seems.
