Honestly, it was late and my computer froze, I wanted to see that it posted before I went to bed. I clicked the button a few more times before realizing that was a mistake:clap: . Oops! Can't seem to find a way to delete them:meh:

Truck ran pretty decent over a few days after adjusting the throttle sensor since I had the TB off to repair the harness. But it still feels unusually slow, although I am able to drive it on the road short distances, it's not ideal. This morning it felt like it was in limp mode or something, I could only accelerate with the slightest throttle. Wondering if my AFM has a problem because my MR2 felt like that when its AFM went bad. I've recently replaced it with a good(used) one, but you never know. Gonna test that today and go over all the ECU pinouts with my multimeter.

T minus 6 days until Ben's trip. Suspense is rising, will he make it?
Stay tuned to find out!

This connector seems bad lol. The plastic fell apart leaving the terminals, where can I buy the female connector? I'll go ahead and order the sensor

Just saw this so a little too late now, but info if you find other bad connections. This was when I needed the harness side, but the sensor side is just above it.

Another update:
My FZJ the morning or second after, I was gonna drive my LC to the shop I work at (down the road from me). But after driving 3 blocks my Land Cruiser became horrendously slow, with crappy throttle response, and no power at all. Could only get her going at the slightest of throttle. At this point it is too close to my departure date for this move. And for the first time in my life, I brought my vehicle to a mechanic
At this point, I need to be doing other prep for the move than working on my Land Cruiser every day. Found numerous problems which I have repaired which all made slight improvements, but ima throw the towel in on this one. I need it running asap.
With that said, dropped it off at the Land Cruiser Specislist here in Austin and should hear back from them soon!
Until then, it's off to packing for me :)

Pulled the ignition wires one at a time to see if one wouldn't change idle. Cyl #6 has no change when removed,

When measureing exhaust manifold temps, #6 was also significantly cooler than the rest. sitting about 260-270F whereas all the others are 330+F

Just a quick question, After you replaced your ECM did you ever go back and verify by measuring your exhaust manifold temps that cylinder number 6 was working, and its temps were close to the same as the other cylinders?

needs a few cycles of start-ups and drives to have the ECU "learn" again after battery disconnect

Yes I originally used a temp gun to diagnose it. And I didnt need one to know it was idling wayy better with the new ECU

I HAVE RETURNED WITH ANSWERS!!!

Dropped my LC off at the Austin Land Cruiser Specialist this morning. Got a call a bit after lunch from them to let me know it was ready.

Blew my mind, get ready

Ignition timing was at full retard. So the throttle cable was over tightened, thus, throwing off the ignition timing. So when I had set the ignition timing, what I thought were correct reading were actually not. Throttle cable adjustment and ignition timing set later and it's the best it's ever felt!!!!
Pennsylvania here I come!
PSA dont overtighten your throttle cable before setting ignition timing.

And with that, I conclude my thread. Thank you to everyone of whom contributed. Time for my beer:cheers:
