A little Pig update -

Remade brake lines along firewall (PITA)
Mounted 2007 - later water pump
Went forward with a PSC SP1405X steering pump (pictured with box to verify authenticity)
Still need to fork out for that remote reservoir
Did some slight chasing on the alt/ps pump mount and bead-blasted
Mounted the AC compressor (as a placeholder)

Is there a reason you went with a newer water pump? Better?
The fabricated aluminum intake manifold sits lower than the OEM and there was some slight interference between the upper water neck and the throttle body actuator. I slapped my face and then started watching some YouTube videos. Another guy had the same problem and went with the later model water pump.

Strong move - picture of pump with box!
Very authentic...

Looks like just enough room to slip your hose in there...

Couple of projects going on this weekend -

First one is breaking out the Cerakote and getting familiar with the process, which for the C-7600 Glacier Black, is ridiculously simple.
C series Cerakote is air dry and doesn’t require the bake-on step, and is still very durable and heat resistant.
Started with some zip-tie mounts from Ruff Stuff for running the wiring along the fuel rails.

The other project is setting up the battery cables for the start battery. I pulled the new NAPA AGM group 24F out of the Ford to mock everything up. The battery tray was designed for group 34 batteries, but there’s some tight tolerance between the battery and the Eaton distribution block. Will have to re-address that when finalizing the metal work on the doghouse.
Definitely prefer the reversed post arrangement of the 24F, which translates to a 34R, and the battery in heavy favor at this point is the Odyssey 34R-790

Also using the $40 Amazon battery cable crimper to make the cables

Finished up the battery cables and tied up some loose ends with the wiring.
Turn the key to ignition and the fuel pump comes on!
Set the intake back in place and bolted it down. Also installed the ICT steam port crossover.
Took a pic so you can see the difference in room there is now between the throttle body and upper water neck on the water pump.
