Just bought an 84’ 4x4 pickup. Looking to do a basic lift. Any suggestions on what works best for the solid axel?
 
What are your plans? Building it or keep it stock survivor?
I would like to build it out, but keep as stock looking as possible. I like the original look for this truck.

I agree, Old Man Emu is the best choice. Should be about 2" of lift. But you will introduce issues with the stock push-pull steering. And on it goes...
 
I'll go three on OME. Keep in mind your springs are probably saggy, and you will get more than the advertised 2" lift. Could be as high as 4".
 
Those old springs likely ride plush as a pillow. Refresh the bushings, add new shocks, maybe that's good enough? I've never used OME springs but I hear good things about them. I had an 84 a while ago and it rode terrible. Added Rancho RS5000s, new shackle bushings. and it was a huge improvement. BTW that's a really nice truck. 👍
 
But first: Post more pics of that truck! From that one pic, it looks super clean. 130,000 miles too?! Nice find.
