Found a great spot for some of the group to hunt for their trees.

Great group to spend the day with. Boulder blocked the forest road from a slide preventing us from getting over 3300’.

Not THIS weekend, but got this back from the interior shop about 2 weeks ago. Door panels were completed and new carpet on the rear wheel wells. I really like what they did.

Also took it to a local tuner. It's amazing what the right tune can do for an LS. The thing runs like a top.

And finally, into this:

I used 3M 08307 Self leveling Seam Sealer. Great product! Hopefully it will last another 37 years!

That looks great. I need this badly.

How many cartridges did it take?

@HemiAlex Actually only one but I had bought two just in case. I have about 10-15mL left in the first cartridge. Luckily my local body shop took the second one back because I hadn’t opened it.

I would recommend having another on hand as I did just in case. The gutters were not very uniform on mine with wide and thin spots. If they were all wide on yours you could very easily need two.

I picked up a set of 70 series 16’s. Going with a 235/85-16 all terrain. It’s going to look like @4Cruisers truck!

The 255/85-16 looks good as well but I’d like to try a shorter tire. The grey truck below is that size.

I'm running these wheels with 255/85/16 Yokohama MTs. The 255s are heavy so going with 235s you should have fewer pounds per corner.
That’s the thought. I love my 33x10.5 sizing but I’m not thrilled with the BFG’s.

My thoughts are to gain some gearing from the shorter tire, lose some unsprung weight per corner and also step into a wheel size with much more tire availability. I hope the narrower tire drives a little better on road and for once I’ll have a tire on the right width range wheel.

I’ve chosen the Falken Wildpeak AT. At $120 a tire it’s a huge savings from the $220 for a k02.
