Hello, I'm looking to sell a 1999 Land Cruiser that's been in the family for most of the car's whole life, but since most everyone has moved out of state, don't really need the extra car. It's only ever really been driven on weekends when we needed to transport the whole family (6 person family) or on special outings, which is why the mileage is so low. Edit: I just found out from my dad that we are actually the second owner. I've only known the car to be in our family which is why I thought we were the original owners. Apparently, my dad bought the car from the original owner in 2005 at 12,000 miles. The original owner had bought it for his wife, but she never drove it that much as it was too big, which is why they originally sold...
Looking to sell my 2000 LX470. It has 215,000 miles and is all stock with the exception of a nice headunit and removed running boards. I got it approx 2 years ago from the second owner who bought it CPO and kept every receipt for services performed. Since I’ve owned it I had the timing belt/water pump replaced at the dealer. Replaced heater Ts and replaced the brakes. It has a new aftermarket right front axle due to a cclip failure and will come with another brand new aftermarket axle as well. It is in good shape with no paint work ever performed. That said it has a couple of scrapes and small dents as to be expected in a 21 year old car. The interior is in good shape with the exception of the driver seat cover. It’s cracked and...
99 LC in very good condition. Bought for my son, but he needs a truck for hauling more now. title in hand. LC has been baselined, and all front end bushings/tierods replaced. white knuckle sliders and tires are toyo open country with maybe 5k miles on them. Front seal replaced as well. All work done by toyota certified mechanic. UPgraded 2k Kenwood stereo system. Only thing I know is probably will need new brake pads before too long. Very nice LC Price is firm. $12500 cash.
Looking for a family hauler....soon. A friend has decided to sell his 98 lx470. We have known the owner of the truck for at least a dozen years as well as the previous owner. Truck has been mostly used as a commuter and no off-roading what so ever. Has 364,000km which is 226k miles. Body is straight. Has rear locker and centre diff lock. Wife really likes the truck. I know nothing about these trucks. So we decided to crawl around the truck. See what it needs. Appears to have not been maintained that well. Typical Landcruiser. Northern BC truck Needs are as follows: Brakes, all four corners, pads, rotors. Front wheel bearings are loose so likely toast Exhaust is crap from in front of catalytic to tail pipe. No check engine light or...
Be gentle, I'm a newbie who has learned SO MUCH from y'all and feel like this is the correct next move for me vehicle-wise. Yeah, that's a big range of model years. So many pros and cons: -Early models w/o Nav allow me to make head unit upgrades -03 and up, five speed -06-07 VVTi, more HP Looking in the 150-175k mileage ballpark-- I realize pricing will vary dramatically based on model year and condition. Prefer Southeast-based, as I'm in Alabama (and chances of salt/rust damage are minimized), but willing to travel/fly for the right truck. Not in a hurry, I know finding the right truck can take months. Any guidance is much appreciated.

Hi everyone, First time poster and also new to the Land Cruiser world. I have been steered here by my brother in law who has a 2007 LC and I absolutely fell in love with it. He has been helping me find a 100 series LC or LX 470. I recently found this one and have already test driven it and given it a quick once over. I am meeting with the seller tomorrow with my brother in law who is a mechanic and will check it out again with me. Anyway - It is a one owner, typical rich guy scenario, driven as a private company car for the CEO, always taken to lexus dealership, lots of maintenance records. Appears to have been meticulously maintained. Car is near flawless on the inside, and is in very good shape on the outside considering it's...
Not my vehicles and not affiliated to the dealership. But as I was looking at these and got all the info about the 2004, I thought it would not be a bad idea to let others know about these and what I have found out. Search Lexus LX 470 Vehicles For Sale Near Atlanta, Marietta, GA - Capital Cadillac - https://www.capitalcadillac.com/VehicleSearchResults?make=Lexus&model=LX%20470 The 2004 model I got undercarriage pictures from the dealer. Not too bad to be honest but I am in Canada so my definition of rust may not be the same as someone living in AZ. The car just had timing belt/water pump replaced and the brake lines (they broke and apparently were rusted). The main thing they are not showing on their ad is the AHC was deleted some...
Selling my truck to build a house. Purchased one year ago on here from a fellow mudder. Truck is clean and rust free! Since I purchased, I have put brand new Goodyear Duratrac's on it, added the Vais Technology bluetooth module (for music playing fully integrated),recovered the driver;s seat bottom, replaced the mats with lloyds all weather mats, added the net version of the interior attic as sold by Blue Ridge and re-tinted front windows to match and the front windshield with 70% ceramic to reduce heat. Everything works as it should. Bumper needs to be sanded and repainted. Cart ding on front driver's wheel well might need your attention, and the wrapping on the rear 'land cruiser' badge might need your attention, if you care. I have...
I found a beautiful, seafoam green color LX 470 up in North Carolina (in located in ATL, so I realistically would fly to get it -- tickets are only $135 right now). The truck has 151K miles and is priced at $13.9K. It has a Clean CARFAX. It was a corporate vehicle for the first 80K miles, then was owned by a second owner for the next 60K miles (hitting about 5K miles / year & consistent servicing). Third owner apparently owned it for a short time in 2020 and sold it because they didn't want the Air Suspension (I have researched that this is relatively inexpensive to change to the LC OEM suspension -- thinking maybe $1K - $1.5K for parts and labor?) Fourth owner is the one I'm buying from. No rust issues that I can see, including...
Hi All, New around here and looking for a truck. Specifically low mile 06-07 LX/100 in Galactic or Thunder Cloud Grey. After a few months of lurking I am realizing such a thing is a bit of a unicorn. The last few years I have been a bit lost after ending my 15 year love affair with my 98 4Runner for German and British money pits. It’s taken some time but I have come to my senses and have found my way back to real SUVs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Purchased this in August and had it shipped from FL. It's sweet but I miss the creature comforts and technology of a newer vehicle for my daily driver...and we already have one land cruiser. https://palmsprings.craigslist.org/cto/d/indio-2006-land-cruiser/7250716451.html CarFax Report is attached...AZ & TX truck. Feel free to contact me with any questions or for more pictures/videos of any areas that may be of interest. $34,125
$8,000. Really I need help pricing this for a friend. I'm also considering buying it, but not sure if I want to put the time needed. My .02 is that it's worth about $6k to someone willing to put in some work. Looking for some advice on pricing this fairly, both for my friend and whoever buys it. I found this for their family 5 years or so ago, it's always been a NC car that I know of. For someone that wants to put in some sweat equity, the body/frame/mechanical is solid. That said, here's what we have: The good: Lots of mechanical work done recently. It drives great. Everything seems to work as it should. Brakes and rotors on all 4 corners in last 1000 miles or so. Radiator changed at same time. OME Lift At 228k the following...
No affiliation. I have recently caught the bug of getting into a land cruiser and have been amazed at the education I have received from this community here. Started browsing around for checking what is available in the market and came across this listing. not super active currently so just wanted to share with you all. Maybe it’s just me but this seems to be a bit on the higher side. Thoughts?
I’m the 2nd owner of a well-maintained LX with some light upgrades. I’ve returned back to the dark side of Land Rover! This has been (as they all are) reliable, dependable, smooth. While it’s seen many dirt roads, it’s never been worked hard off road or bounced over rocks. It has no body damage with the exception of a few scuffs and the lightest of a pinstripe or two that I haven’t bothered to buff out yet. Ill post additional photos here- LX Pics - Google Drive - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1i7GxHRJM_wPJnJiBo8OrL8p76Zro2v6N $16,000 Current mileage 146,000 2nd Owner since 103,000 miles. Haven't been the most active poster on mud but long time subscriber Asking 5k since I have tried to maintain her well with an open checkbook, recently replaced some expensive parts, and always fixed her with a friend that is a Lexus/Toyota Mechanic doing the more laborious work... Just bought an LX570 since I have a baby now and no time to continue chasing some of the issues that are popping up. PM me your number for some pics or to discuss, I'll see if I can get a few pics up soon on the post.. 2001 Black / Tan JTEHT05J712004284 256,000 miles Upgraded Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors and powerstop brakes Front seats and steering wheel leather refreshed in 2015 Upgraded EMS Stainless Cat Back Exhaust 2013 New OEM computer 2020...
Hey mudders, Selling wife's cruiser, reliable 156k specimen with normal wear. Looks great from 10 feet and getting hood and roof being painted this week make her a better looker at 1 foot. We've owned for 8 years and done routine maintenance , including 90k timing belt and water pump. Nearly new bfg ATs, LexTech in Charleston has serviced and have all records. Would hop in and drive to Oregon right now without thinking twice. Rust free underbody save areas of very light surface rust (no pitting). Upgraded JVC double din deck, backup camera, wooden whee, weathertechs throughout. New fog lamps in a box come with it Thanks for looking, listed locally for $14,900.
Hi all - just joined and looking to get buy a 2000 100. Has 200k mileage, was a family car, and seems to have been well maintained. Never left the area of the dealership, and the man's father was the head of sales there so he always got the maintenance done there regularly. Looks to be a good buy according to the many posts here stressing maintenance as the main thing to look at when buying. Everything looks good, but the only problem is the rear fender was banged up pretty bad - owner said a motorcycle ran into the rear driver side fender. Anyone have experience with body work on these, and how much it would cost to fix? See attached fix. Appreciate any help!
I just bought an LC200 so it's time to sell my beloved 2007 LC100, has 211k on the odometer. Ome 2.5" lift with UCAs on 275x70x18 Duratracs, stock wheels powdercoated black, ARB Safari Snorkel, weathertecs. In great condition mechanically with no rust. Southern car its whole life, never salt water, or snow. It was a zero mod garage kept mall crawler up until August of 2019. I am looking to trade for a 2017+ year model Tacoma TRD off road or Pro, main thing is no rust and in good shape overall. Depending on the deal I may be willing to cough up some cash.
