Hello, I'm looking to sell a 1999 Land Cruiser that's been in the family for most of the car's whole life, but since most everyone has moved out of state, don't really need the extra car. It's only ever really been driven on weekends when we needed to transport the whole family (6 person family) or on special outings, which is why the mileage is so low.
Edit: I just found out from my dad that we are actually the second owner. I've only known the car to be in our family which is why I thought we were the original owners. Apparently, my dad bought the car from the original owner in 2005 at 12,000 miles. The original owner had bought it for his wife, but she never drove it that much as it was too big, which is why they originally sold the car.
Details:
2nd owner, Texas car, title in hand
125,000 miles
Timing belt replaced at 96,887 miles
Regular maintenance done at dealership or local shop (service records in hand)
Starter replaced in 2017 as I had issue with it starting one day, but no issues since replacement
3rd row seats installed
2 keys
There are some minor scratches and paint nicks on the front bumper and driver door, and a dent on the rear bumper.
Front leather seats are slightly worn and some of the wood paneling is cracked due to sun exposure over the years.
The dealership recommended replacing rack n pinion to help with loose steering, and valve gasket for very minor oil drip
The dealership also recommended replacing rear brake pads at next maintenance interval
Asking for $12,000 cash
