Decided to sell my expedition build 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser , well documented, loved and used. This truck is truly the best of the best and has never let me down. It can tow , haul and offroad. It has taken us to Colorado and beyond , but I just don't have time to use it anymore. It is not perfect but runs well and has served our family adventures for many years. I can't imagine what trying to build a truck like this would cost you in aftermarket parts alone. Land Cruisers will continue to increase in value as they become harder and harder to find.

Hey guys, I'm not nearly as well read on the 100 series but I checked this guy out today for my teenage sons. 238k on the clock, 17 clean pages of carfax reports. Not nearly as much rust as Ive seen on other 100's. Drove great, and every single button worked. Needs new struts for the hood and a new bottom tailgate hanger. Thoughts?
What else should I be looking for/thinking about? Thanks in advance.

For sale is my 2000 LX470 SLEE RIG! I purchased this vehicle in 2019 and it has been my daily driver since. Selling as I just don’t get in the high country enough, and don’t love it as my daily driver. The previous owner was my father-in-law, who purchased in 2010, so it has been in the family for that time, and well loved and cared for. I will be completely upfront with the good and the bad, as that is the only way to be. The truck is in great shape with regular maintenance and tasteful modifications.

Been looking for an 03+ LX with the help of all the resources here. Wouldn't be a daily driver, primarily for beach to replace my 315k 2008 4runner, so not looking for the most pristine example.
Best I could find so far is a 2006 with this level of rust (maybe its not so bad for northeast standards). I need to start bringing a Toyota branded 2x4 everywhere because hood struts are always dead.

My dad bought this 2004 100 series with ~100k miles in ~2011 from the original owner. It has been a family hauler for my wife and kids the last 2 years. Comes with detailed maintenance records since 100k miles. No accidents in our ownership, haven't run carfax to check the first 100k miles.
ABS unit replaced a few years ago. Front brake rotors/pads and front CV shafts recently replaced. Ball joints appeared to be tight. No exhaust leaks.
A few blemishes- 1/2" crack in windshield, 3rd tailight is missing a corner (was this way when we bought it), the center diff lock works but the dash indicator does not light (have receipt where ACC Toyota investigated but we chose not to repair due to cost vs. insignificance).

Been on hunt all over forums, fb marketplace, private sellers and dealers for an LC100 or LX 470.
I found a low mileage 2004 lx 470 with the following pictures foe the undercarriage.
Need someone experienced opinion if you see anything. It looks like rust is surface and on the cover but I'm no expert.

I'm going to look at a 05 LX470 on Saturday for $8900. I'm going to follow the OTRAMM pre-purchase inspection when I go to look at it. I'm taking a buddy of mine who is a mechanic as well. Is there anything else specific that I should be looking out for that isn't mentioned in the OTRAMM video? It's 276K miles but the owner says they are majority highway miles. 1 owner as well and meticulously taken care of. Southern vehicle so no rust according to owner, but I will still be checking. This vehicle is for my wife (for now) so I want to make sure I get it right. I appreciate the help!

My once short commute has changed to one where I need to do long distance drives (NY to Fla) pretty regularly, so regrettably going to have to sell my 2000 100 series with sub 200k miles, Texas truck, beautiful condition, timing belt etc done at dealer, bought from forum member who bought it from another forum member thus very traceable documented history. Looking to trade for a Lexus rx 350 ideally 2013-15, low miles, well maintained, money on either end. Will post px later just getting the ball rolling.
