Up for sale is a 1999 Lexus LX470. I will get photos up within the next couple of days. I have owned the truck for the past 7 years. It has lived up to its legendary reliability. I am only selling because I am starting graduate school in the fall and need to find something more economical for commuting to Boulder. Truck passed emissions last time with absolutely no issues. Since owning the truck I have performed LOTS of modifications, turning it from a grocery getter into a serious overland vehicle. All the work has been performed by Import Specialists here in Fort Collins and Slee Offroad in Golden.
The Specs:
1999 Lexus LX470 with 190k miles.
Sony Touchscreen stereo with Apple Carplay.
Aftermarket stereo with replacement amplifier and powerful subwoofer.
Custom Vinyl seatcovers.
Bump It Offroad front bumper with bull bar.
SPC aftermarket upper control arms
Old Man Emu Differential Drop
3” Old Man Emu Heavy Lift with nitrogen shocks
35” BFG KO2 Tires with about 65% life left in them.
ARB Drawers with fridge slide out.
Custom second row organizer platform. I still have the second row seats and seat belts if you’d like to remove the platform.
I do not have the third row seats.
All kinds of overlanding organization goodies from Blue Ridge Overland.

If asking price is met I will throw in a Goal Zero power station with solar panels.
Maintenance:
Oil recently changed. Always changed every 3k with Mobil1 full synthetic.
Fluids (power steering, coolant, transmission, brakes, front and rear differentials) flushed (about 1k miles ago) at Import Specialists of Fort Collins.
Valve cover gasket done 1k miles ago.
Notoriously problematic stock heater T’s replaced.
Power steering rack replaced at Slee Offroad 20k miles ago.
CV’s replaced at Slee Offroad 20k miles ago.
Brakes (rotors and pads) replaced at Slee Offroad 20k miles ago.
Wheel bearings replaced at Slee Offroad 20k miles ago.
The Bad:
The paint is showing its age. The truck lived it’s previous life in the Las Vegas sun. No rust whatsoever but lots of peeling.
Cracked windshield (down low, doesn't affect visibility).
The power steering pump is beginning to whine, particularly on cold mornings. It may need replacement in the near future.
There is something bizarre happening with the wiring for the stereo. The owner before me installed the Sony Carplay and I think they spliced into the wiring for the headlights. The stereo only turns on when the headlights are put on auto-mode.
