Hey everyone, been lurking here a bit and I've made the hard decision to sell my lifted LX470. I'm the senior mechanic at Metric Motors in Loveland, CO. I bought the LX in August of 2019 from a small used car dealership here in Loveland. I believe it may have been owned by a fellow forum member in the past. I had plans to keep this thing for a long time but life dictates otherwise and unfortunately I need to sell the truck. I have done a lot of work to the LX over my ownership with receipts for proof. Well guys, it's been a hell of a journey, but due to life being life, it's time to part with my baby. As you've seen in my thread I've taken this bad girl all apart and put her back together again to get her properly baselined. My father purchased this car new from Toyota of Carlsbad in 2004 and has owned it u till 2020, when he signed it over to me. I decided to clean it up as best as I could so I could take my kids camping. When I acquired it, it had 297,000 miles. Immediately, I have done the following:
- OEM timing Belt, water pump, heater T
- Total Chaos Upper control arms
- Ironman Foam Cell Pro lift with differential drop
- last month, I had all the brakes serviced with the rear calipers being replaced with OEM as well as the brake drums
- I also had the steering rack swapped with an OEM and OEM tie rod ends
- rear cargo area is outfitted with ARB slide out drawers and a lower hatch storage compartment.

Looking to buy an excellent condition 06-07 LX470 with under 200k miles. A really clean interior/exterior is important, clean title, great service history, and zero rust. I’m a serious buyer with cash in hand. I have about $25-$30k to spend and will not waste anyone's time. Thank you.
Note: Need proof of maintenance. At this price point, I'm hoping to find one that does not need much work or is at least relatively inexpensive to baseline. Also, I'm open to one with lower miles that needs a little more work to baseline but asking less.

Now I am looking at another LC via an auction site, so I can't see in person, for for less $ than the one I returned, it is an East coast vehicle, thus under carriage rust (which I know nothing about being a Californian), but the body seems clean based on pictures. It is Atlantis Blue, which looks amazing.
Can any of you look at the under carriage and see if it seems too far gone? Or maybe it is acceptable if cleaned and coated?

Looking for a 06-07 100 series that is in decent shape. Under 175k miles is fine with good history and big things fixed already, but really looking for under 150k if possible.
Priorities:
- Good service records/history
- Clean undercarriage (not looking for perfect but not interested in fighting off rust all the time - my 80 project has that covered)
- Cleanish body - just no body rust / rot. Door dings & mall scratches don’t matter.
- Don’t care if it’s modified or stock unless it’s been painted - would prefer and original color

Didn't have the time for this project I thought I would, so want to offer it up here before I go wider with it. It's a 2003 LC w/ 242k mi. Last year of the transmission dipstick, first year of the 5 speed. Overall condition is good, but it has some wear and tear with age. Here's some recent work, and I can provide a more full service history direct from Toyota. Third row seats are included. The seats are almost all tear free except for the left bolster on the drivers seat. Carpets are in OK condition given age. Speaker grills will need to be painted as the cloth covers are missing. All lights work. Car has a few dents which I will add to the album below as well as a little side rash on the rear passenger area.

Hi guys: Selling my 2007 Land Cruiser. 182,000. 2nd owner. Acquired with 153K. I just acquired a 2013 LC and as much as I want to keep this one also, I just don’t have the time to wrench on it. 2nd kid just arrived and it’s just not realistic. Runs great, no issues daily driving and I would have no problem driving cross country with it.
The good: 3 keys. AHC delete by previous owner along with undercarriage being sprayed to inhibit further rust. What I have done in the last 25K? interior and headlight bulbs changed to LEDs, added KO2s, New front sway bar links, timing belt, heater T’s, new Ebrake, front & rear brake rotors/pads replaced, new radiator, new alternator, new battery, replaced driver side...
Looking for a 100 series and not overly picky. I'd prefer LC over LX, but depending on condition I'm open to both.
High miles is no problem with good service history. Ideally like to have a MY2000 and up.
Priorities:
-Zero rust, please. My old LX was horribly rusty and a nightmare to work on, but I loved it all the same.
-Interior in good shape. I don't mind stains in the carpet for example, but otherwise a clean interior in good shape is highly preferred.

1999 LX 470 for sale. Asking $20,000. This has been a great vehicle but I have a new Sequoia so this isn’t getting driven as much. I’ve spent a lot of money since I’ve had it to get it as close to baseline and have addressed any issue that’s come up. I have a ton of maintenance documents on this vehicle, going back to when it had 132K miles. All Aisin/Toyota parts unless otherwise noted. Motor runs very smooth! Most of the maintenance was done by Mayo Automotive in Lewisville.

$1500/OBO Farm Truck Special
2000 Lexus LX470 with 256K miles, owned since 2018 (215K), Timing belt and water pump replaced at 215K, Brake/ABS Booster Motor replaced less then 1K miles ago, New tires within last year. Comes with third row seats and new power steering high pressure line. Mechanically sound engine and transmission, starts/runs like new. Running/Driving video available if needed.
From a Vin check/personal use it has been a Minnesota/Nebraska/Colorado/Minnesota car so it has rust in all the normal body and frame places for the 100/LX470 series. Clear Coat Peeling. Rear Hatch currently unable to open (Handle does move). Slow battery drain (~1 week before it won’t start)

2001 Lexus LX470 – Purchased a 200 Series so unfortunately, my LX470 has to go. I am the second owner of this garaged vehicle that spent most of its life in San Diego, Ca until June of 2021 when it made the move to Boise, ID. Interior is clean with no rips in the seats or cracks in dash. Overall, it’s a very clean and well-maintained truck.
