I have decided to sell (or trade) my 2002 Lexus LX470 (Riverrock Green Mica) rigged for offroading, overlanding, and camping. I've owned it since August 2018. I purchased from a guy in Atlanta that bought the LX in 2016 from someone in New Orleans. He bought it stock and did most of the mods. I have made some minor changes since I purchased. The car has no rust and has never been in the north. The is pretty clean inside and out but there are some areas that show age. The truck runs great. It just needs a little TLC to be near perfect. I used it for an annual camping trip and little bit of off-roading. There are some mud stains in the undercarriage and wheel wells. Currently have a LHD 2006 Land Cruiser Prado 120 3.0d with 72000km - it’s near perfect.
However, really want to get a 100/lx470. I’m torn between the 4.2d (More common and more sensible) and the 4.7 v8.
Live in Southern Spain where rust on cars isn’t a problem. My current 120 looks new underneath - don’t want to sell that one until I find an alternative.

This LX470 has 296,xxx it was a dealer trade in from the original owner. It is rust free on the frame and body. I found every maintenance record on Lexus.com from day one. Rust present underneath from early life in Wisconsin. Non structural according to Toyexus in Denver, CO
Rack and pinion appear to be going. Steering has become a bit vague this winter, but not egregious.
ABS light on dash but believed to be sensor only.

This truck has developed a stalling issue that I cannot figure out. I also do not want to send it to a mechanic to do the work at this time, so I am selling it as is for CHEAP! .
