For Sale is a 2004 Lexus LX470 with 232,000 miles on it and I’m asking $15,500. It has had three different owners but I bought this from my dad because I knew he had taken care of it. He bought it from a lawyer friend of his with about 40,000 miles on it. I have only put 10,000 on it myself in almost a year and half. As the family gets more deeply involved in rock climbing, I find myself in need of a weapons-grade road trip machine. The wife's Minivan just doesn't cut it in some of these places and this is a great excuse to buy something insanely over-engineered.
External cosmetics aren't so important, so long as it's rust free (by northern standards). Mechanical condition is what counts for me.
I'm in SE Michigan, but we're driving out to New Hampshire via I-90 next week (7/4-7/9), out to Wisconsin in early August, and probably to Kentucky sometime in between. Happy to drive 50-100 miles out of my way on those trips for the right truck!

I'm upgrading from my '94 80 series. Prefer less than 175,000 miles, known ownership/maintenance history, not 'built' and in good to excellent condition. I'm in the Boise area but will travel for right vehicle, in fact would prefer a vehicle from a dry(er) area to avoid rust issues. I travel frequently to Southern California. Great vehicle for $5500.
This is a smooth running high mileage land cruiser. Bought it with 164,000 miles on it from the Toyota dealership as a daily driver for my wife. Has some cosmetic damage and drivers seat is torn. Timing belt is due for a change and needs new tires. Has locking differential. Basically what you would expect for a well kept cruiser with 250,000 miles.

I began looking around this morning and it seems that the demand and subsequent going market value for these trucks has risen significantly since i last sold/bought a cruiser.
Was a company car from 0-60k miles with all dealer servicing. 60k - 144k was a family cruiser with a decent amount of service records from toyota and independent mechanics.

I have a 2001 Land Cruiser, white, good shape. No engine issues other than the manifold tick that is all too common. Timing belt and water pump were done at 100k. New AC pump last year. Pulling my boat this weekend and transmission went out. The vehicle will not go into neutral, or any forward gear. Transmission shop quoted be $2700 for a rebuild.
