Knowing Kalifornistan...won’t be long before they make me add a yellow 250lb capacity-reduction sticker on my truck every time I hop behind the wheel... :bang:

Here is a youtube video describing all the trail closures in and around Big Bear for the next 3 months. It is always advisable to check with the local governing body on trail conditions before venturing out.

What I am trying to determine is if the regulatory hurdles in California have caused the cost of auto painting to be higher than similar paint jobs in other states.

I recently had my 80 repainted (original Moonglow Pearl), glass removed, new seals, they had to remove 2 prior repaints that did not adhere well and the clear was peeling. Had 15 hours or so of body work and no rust at all. Good southern Cali...

I’m following this thread. I’m in TN and am found it very difficult to find someone to paint my cruiser. No one wants my money because they’re too busy with insured collision work. Anyway, mine will be painted in Flagstaff, AZ by a mud member...

One simple pic, but a monumental step, at least for me. Back to being a roller. Couple of comments 1. Dont try and put the rear diff on the front axle. It will make you scratch your head and feel like an idiot as to why it was not working as...

I'm glad I don't have to deal with that. Maybe I need add drain holes before each clamp? Judging off of your pics I have a feeling they would get clogged though.

Yes, SAFETY should be your first concern when working alone, as, in case of an accident, it might take some time before somebody finds you to help: Safety shoes, safety goggles, gloves, cellphone for emergency calls in the pocket. Always. First...

Passenger side knuckle rebuilt. Put in new brake hoses, rotors, wheel lugs, and changed from non-locking hubs to locking hubs. Have new tie rod ends to put on, new calipers, and new pads.

Interested in one of the sets of the 2532s for the rear. With the Tundra parts up front I'd definitely tear up some very important parts.

I have been pleasantly surprised by HF. I purchased the Warrior 115 piece Cobalt drill set (high-dollar sets can run a thousand bucks or more) and while crudely finished, they drilled just as well and lasted just as long as the big buck name...

I think you'd be okay choosing OEM. The backspacing on the 21 TRD BBS is 60mm, on the 21 200 series wheels its 56mm. I running the Spridertrax 1.25 in the rear to get the track close to the Tundra front end swap.
