Up for sale is my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser that I bought from the original owner in Dallas, almost three years ago; I would describe it as an extremely clean, unmolested, fairly low mileage (183K) example. Timing belt/H2O pump serviced at 140K, well maintained, never off road or in the mud-except a couple of muddy dirt roads on the way to the Hill Country.
Plenty of meat on all Michelin LTX M/Ss, tow package, third row jump seats.
Drive it home.

Checking to see if anyone knows of a well-kept '03-'07 100 preferably in the Houston area. I'm willing to travel for the right car, though.
Maintenance records are a plus. Given that some of these cars are 10+ years, I'm not expecting a concours vehicle. I just want something safe, dependable and capable enough to survive the occasional flood that we get down in these parts of the US.
Prefer Silver or white exterior. I'm not too picky on interior color or options so long as things work. I'm also willing to pay a reasonable premium for lower mileage cars.

I'm looking for a rust free 100 series with up-to-date maintenance and did I mention rust free? Prefer lower miles as this'll be my daily driver as well as seeing lots of long road trips every year.
I know stuff gets posted on here when it pops up, but if anyone is thinking of selling, let me know.

Looking for a 100 series, either land cruiser or LX470 in the Tacoma/Seattle area. These seem to go quickly in this area. I am looking for something ideally in the <150,000 mileage range, no preference on year or color. I would prefer to go private sale from someone who has a bit of history with the vehicle versus a dealership. I have been shopping around on craigslist but nothing really stands out. I am not the seller, but bought a car from this guy over a year ago and could not be happier. I am a long time mud member.
I was looking to replace my rusty 99 and was in Las Vegas. He had a 2000 LC and an LX like this one for sale. I bought the LC but had also bid on the LX . Like this ad, there were about 100 close up pictures, so no surprises when I got there. He deals mostly in vettes and muscle cars but also loves these vehicles and buys only the cream puffs.
He was a straight up guy and everything went great. He even delivered it to our hotel. I would not hesitate to buy another car from him any time. Just for fun, we drove it 1800 miles home to Wisconsin and it was a blast...

Anyways I was looking at a LX in Tampa for what looked to be a great car with $178.8k miles. The Autocheck said it didnt have any accidents. Which was good. Then I called the Lexus dealership in Tampa to get a report on the car. I could not get the carfax for the car. Almost all of the of the service was done at the dealership which was great. Most things looked great for the car. We agreed on a price of $8700 for it. But then 2 things stood out from the dealership report.

Very nice 2003 100 Series Lexus LX470. Well maintained and regularly serviced. Timing Belt, water pump, etc all done on time. Clean Carfax Report, No Accidents, and a non smoker truck. It is a 1 owner before me, carfax reports three but for some reason reported the dealer trading it and selling it to me. I am a dealer but I know these trucks very well. I'm selling my 2000 Lexus LX470. I bought it stock with 113k miles four years ago. This has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned and I hate to see it go. It now has 170k miles. Everything works and has been well maintained. It has the Nikamichi sound system, 3rd row, and AHC suspension. For sale is my 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser, I have only owned it since December where I bought it from it's original owner in Huntington Beach, California. The timing belt was replaced at 98k miles and the car runs amazing, for the last 2 years of it's life I was told it sat and collected dust in his driveway next to his new 200 series.
The bad:
• It has a very mild oil leak (maybe put 1 quart in every 3 or 4 months just to be safe)
• The driver, front passenger and 2nd row seats have small tears in the seat bottom.
• The lower lift gate had a bad bondo job and the paint is cracking on it.
• The front passenger side turning signal plastic lens has cracked.
