Toyota Land Cruiser 2001
I've been looking at it heavily for a while now, if it's good I'm trading in the jeep for it.
A couple things though. he's had to replace the CV boots about 6 times in the past year. I was thinking it was because he might not have the diff drop kit with his lift. But according to the mechanic that looked at it he said it did. So I don't know. He said the angle is too steep for the cv boot and it's causing them to rub, which doesn't make sense because if he had the drop kit it wouldn't be steep right? But he said they are going to loosen the torsion bars to lower the front end to take some pressure off and see if that works, and if it does then match the back end...
Considering being an adult and dropping some payments since I don't NEED the truck necessarily.

Looking for a decent daily driver Land Cruiser or LX470 somewhere near the Seattle area (or a day or two roadtrip away). Would prefer a 2003+ but open to other years. Hoping to find something under $12k if possible.
Stock is fine, higher mileage is fine, as long as the usual service has been done and no rust and everything works. Would prefer a clean (non-salvage) title. Message me if you know of something.

Typical story....I purchased the LC with grand ideas for having an overland vehicle....instead I relocated to Washington DC and with the traffic and it being my daily driver, decided I needed to get something that wasn't robbing me at the pump. Not to mention there's not a parking garage around I can actually fit in :(
- 174,000 miles
- Water pump/timing belt was done at ~139k
- BFG KO2's (5 with spare) (285/75/16) with ~4,000 miles on them (
- Front seats in normal condition (no rips or tears but "worn"), back seats in great condition
- AC blows cold/Heat blow hot
- Great looking paint (champagne) still...
This is the second lifted 100 series I have seen these guys list on Ebay. The other one had more miles but was just as clean.
Looks like they clean them up, lift them and put new tires on them I guess. No telling how high this one will go. The other auction ended early, must have sold locally.

Good people of MUD please share with me your pricing wisdom. Cruiser Noob here in the midst of my quest for the right 100 as a DD with light mods planned. This truck popped up in my neck of the woods.
It has a good service history and drives pretty well. Based on the modest but visible corrosion and some pretty heavy sun damage to the console wood and front seat I am guessing it was someone's coast truck. Interior is pretty clean with a tear in the driver's seat leather and what appears to have been a bleach spill on the third row floor mat.
After inspection/driving it needs the following mechanical issues addressed:
- Leaking CV
- U-joints
- TBelt/Water Pump due soon
- All 5 tires are dry rotted and one has an unsafe gash in the...

Guys I am selling my LX470. OEM Timing belt/Water pump done in the last 1k. Brand new OEM steering rack installed within last 1k as well. Old one was leaking. Changed out valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals. Brand new Land Cruiser Heaven leather up front. Has 18" Land cruiser wheels, also have the original LX 16" wheels that came with the truck. Located in Ashburn Virginia. But its a FL truck. I purchased it before I moved up to Va. Zero rust.
