I picked this up last year with some plans to make it my daily driver. I have so many other projects I hate to see it sit. I bought it from the original owner, well from the shop he always took it to. I have the original title from 1999 ($45k taxable value!). Apparently every time he brought it to the shop for brakes, oil changes, etc, they told him to change the timing belt, and every time he said he "called Toyota and they said you don't need to change it". Yeah, right. Anyway, the timing belt finally went and he sold it to the shop for $200! Yes...$200. I paid a lot more than that, but man...$200! And it has a locker! So it does have over $300k miles...
SOLD!!!! I spent the last 3 years getting this rig dialed and now it’s time to say goodbye. The reality is I had plans to do a ton of trips but life (well work) has taken over. My wife and I live in SF and the Hundy just sits, unused! I will be going car-less (my commute is to my home office) for a while and when needed will convert to a more family/city oriented rig (No trades at this time). With that said I am in no major rush to sell however spring is here for a lucky new owner to enjoy!

I am the original owner of a 2000 LX with 199,000 miles. It has pretty severe undercarriage rust and has the following issues: hydraulic suspension needs repaired or replaced (line busted), brakes line broke, muffler needs replaced, and it needs a new battery. And, it needs a rear bumper - sold the Slee bumper I had on it.
The truck does have an ARB front combo bumper installed with Warn winch (but it needs one or more solenoids repaired) with synthetic rope, three 240mm Lightforece lights, and a Frontrunner 45 gallon aux tank. Oh, and it has full drawers in the cargo area.
The truck could be repaired or used as a parts vehicle. Also, the bumper and aux tank could be parted out as well.

Not mine but its on the local classifieds and looked really clean so I figured I'd share for those here that are looking.
Excellent Condition, One-Owner, Rust-Free 2000 Land Cruiser.
You'd be hard pressed to find a rig better cared for than this one - this Land Cruiser has been professionally serviced and inspected every 3-4 months for the last 16 years, with preventative maintenance taken when needed.
Bought new in 2000, my Dad took immaculate care of this vehicle and the car runs great. There are a few cosmetic dings/scratches etc that are expected after 16 year, but nothing major. This rig is in great condition and needs nothing (cracked exhaust manifold occurred at 90K miles with no side effects, passes emissions etc).

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but have already learned a lot. I've decided to put my 2000 Lexus LX 470 up for sale and offering it here to fellow enthusiasts before putting it on ebay, cars.com, etc. Has 139k miles. It has had a lot of recent maintenance including brake rotors and pads, oil/filter, diff and TC fluid, various air filters. AHC works flawlessly. Has tow hitch and Nakamichi. Interior is clean no odors very little wear on seats compared to the others I have seen on the market. The only flaws I know of are cosmetic. There's some scratches and a scrape on the rear bumper. Also, a chip on the windshield, but I can certainly have it replaced if I get close to asking...

TRI STATE AREA HUNTING FOR A 100 SERIES !!! I prefer the Land Cruiser as im not crazy about the height control on the Lexus nor its "Luxurious" features but will definitely keep an eye open to the lx470 !
