Hey guys,
So my land cruiser has been doing great and love it. Unfortunately my wife's ford edge has been riddled with problems and had the front strut mount randomly break and the strut went into the hood. Fortunately it happened when we were parking but it was the last straw and now I am looking for a 100 series to replace her car with. I'm not looking for anything immaculate just a non problematic vehicle that's had regular maintenance done. I'd prefer under 200k but if the price is right and the maintenance is on par than I'd go up to 300K. I'm looking for places with in 4-5 hours of kalispell, MT. Unless its a rig worth flying out for in somewhere like salt lake or Denver.

Just as the title says. I am in N.C. and looking for a 100 series LC or LX. Ideal vehicle would be one without navigation, no rust, no accidents or body damage. I’d say the only absolute dealbreaker would be too much rust. I am willing to pay market value for a clean example, but price is going to depend entirely on mileage/condition/history. The lower the mileage, the better, but if it’s got service records a higher-mileage one may be ok. I am also willing to drive a few hours to get the “right” truck. After looking for a couple months for only 'private party' 06-07' 100's anywhere in the Country, I stumbled across this one at a dealer about 10 miles from me and bought it on the spot in October 2015, it was bone stock. It's been a Virginia vehicle all it's life, and has extensive maintenance history, at the time it had about 145,000 miles on it. I've scanned the carfax from when I purchased it, where you can see the maintenance that I speak of.
In early 2016 I ordered BIO armor and drove it out to have OTRAMM install the bumpers/sliders and also do the following:

After much thought as to what I should purchase I've finally decided to try and find a high mileage, well maintained 100 series. I know this is going to limit me to the earlier model years but that's fine. My thought process is simple, If I like the earlier years and I want to upgrade to a newer one down the road it will be a no brainer. I kept getting caught up in looking for the 5spd trans and the higher engine output of the 06 and 07 when I was looking but spending almost 20k on one of those seems a bit extreme at this point. I'm will travel for the right truck and drive it back. I'm in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Wish list:
-Either a LX470 or Land Cruiser is fine
-1998 - 2002 interest me most. I like the simplicity of the non-integrated...
OK, I had this truck sold but then I buyer couldn't get all his money together. So It's back up for sale.
2000 Lexus LX470 SUV, These are the same trucks as a Toyota Land Cruiser but have the Lexus upgrades. These are one of the best 4wd trucks ever built! 4wd, 4.7L V8, Fully loaded with All leather interior, Headed front seats, etc.etc... Runs and drives great. Toyota service is up to date Service records in hand. Paint and body in descent shape for it's age. Bumpers and hood could use a repainting. 195k miles

Well this sux. I’m contemplating selling my LX. Hey fellas. I am asking for your opinion on a fair price. Miles are 107k. I bought it two plus years ago with 94k mikes. I am 3rd owner. I believe timing belt and water pump are original. Vehicle is clean inside and out. No leaks whatsoever. AHC works flawlessly. No accidents. Clean Carfax. Selling my 2001 LandCruiser. 241xxx miles (will go up slowly, my weekend car). In great condition, I am the second owner, bought it last year (at 235k), and as much as I love it, I'd like to save some money and really have no use for two cars. I have the car fax the PO pulled on it and all of the repairs and add ons I completed on the truck (can provide copies of documents, etc.)
