Just seeing if their was any interest in an '86 Trooper II, 2-door, 5-speed, 153k miles, new radiator and a couple receipts from previous owner one of which an engine overhaul at 90k. Sad day. Time for my kids Peg Perego Gaucho Grande with custom paint job to go. I got it probably 9 years ago. I rebuilt it with new shifter and gas pedal, wiring and battery at that time. My kids outgrew it and I let another buddy of mine use it for his kids.
Then it sat in his barn. I tried charging the battery but it doesn't hold much of a charge. I could get the wheels to turn but I think it needs at least a new battery. It may need more than that. I could find all the parts online to totally rebuild it when I did it but honestly haven't looked. I haven't cleaned it up or anything at this point. I have been too busy...

Well built, babied and garage kept. Approx 8300mi. Purchased it stock with about 2700mi. Methodically pieced together using Thumpertalk as my main reference. 95% of miles are street miles, previous owner did the same. Changing from SM to dirt takes about an hour since I have each wheelset set up with brakes/sprocket/chain... I always used the factory service manual (included) for torque specs - I've always been that way with all my vehicles.

Back Story.
I bought new, and it had seen several variations of suspensions and engine mods from new to '08-'09, when it was torn down and rebuilt to the state it's in now.
Have two trips to the dunes since completed, comprising the liberal 12-15 hours of run time since rebuilt.
Several notable local shops had a hand in the earlier developments, but JH Racing in Collinsville, OK reassembled.
I do not have the time to devote to riding, plus it's more difficult to recover from a weekend of duning, as I've aged, so recently moved to storage after it's sat in my garage, untouched, for many years.

Imported this van this summer for the purpose to use for a few camping trips with my kids and then to re-sell. Van is overall great shape with the exception of some misc. interior wear which is to be expected for these models. Body, undercarriage, and mechanical condition is all top notch and everything functions as it should. Onto the details:

All original, approximately 7000 miles on it. It starts and runs OK, but could probably use a tune up. It sputters a bit under higher RPMs. The exhaust has some rust under the chrome cladding and I believe the baffling might be blocked up a bit, causing the sputter. It does have an oil leak drip that appears to be coming from sprocket cover area. It will leave about a 3" puddle when you park it. Original seat is in good condition but does have about a 1" tear as seen in the pictures.
I have the title signed over from the previous owner, but still have to run to SOS to get it in my name.
$1500 or best offer. $1250 if sold this weekend.
