We are wrapping up projects and selling just about everything so we can move to Honduras and serve as full time missionaries in our organization.

As the title says we are selling our '08 BMW R1200GS. We bought it to take to Honduras to use, but it's one of the things that keeps us from going as money is required to keep such toys.



Awesome motorcycle with around 16.5k on the clock. Has a warranty until Dec. of 2014 and sweet bags! She's ready to tour or just play! May even consider throwing in our riding gear.

Comes with the bags in the first pics. They are water tight, strong and big enough to hold a body practically.

-Heated grips (2 stage)
-Gauge read-outs: current MPG's, average speed, MPG's left on a tank, current ambient temp.
-Has ABS and you can disable it.
-Does have the extended warranty and it is transferable.
-Gets about 45 mpg.
-Power band is around 7rpms.

Some questions I was asked on ADVrider:

You mention a 3 yr warranty so are you the second owner? how much longer on the warranty and who is it with?

Great questions! I called to find out as I haven't used it and sadly found out the warranty is up in Dec. of 2014 so it's not as long as I thought. The warranty is through Preferred Warranties Inc., it's nationwide and there website is: http://warrantys.com/

Yes I am the second owner. We bought it about a year ago and a month later got pregnant so I worked more and barely rode it.Then we decided to move our move date to Honduras up and decided it wasn't a necessity to have it and so up for sale it goes.
