Well I've come to the conclusion that I am going to sell my expedition ready 2002 Toyota Tacoma. With my wife and son on a camping trip the quaters are tight, and we are expecting our second son any moment so I've decided to give up my truck for a fzj80 (hopefully).

I'm not sure what the best way is to sell my truck. Either piece it out and return it to a somewhat less modified truck or sell it as a whole. So what I'd like to do is test the waters and see if anybody is interested in buying my truck as a whole.

I bought it (stock) with about 52k miles in November of 2004. Everything added was purchased brand new since then. For reference, I added ball park prices of what I paid for each mod (you can verify them, I never got any amazing deals). I used factory fluids/parts for the air filter, fuel filter, plugs, coolant, tranny fluid and any other direct replacements. I used amsoil motor oil, mobil 1 gear oil for the diffs/tcase and k&n oil filters.

Since I'm keeping the aux battery and all of my accessories were wired from it, the wiring will be removed. Better anyway because my next project was to rewire my truck to make it cleaner.
The aux fuel tank will not pass smog in california. Smog is the sellers responsibility so I plan on returning the plumbing to stock for the sale. Buyer can redo the plumbing.

I see similar taco's in stock form go for about $13k-14k and the buyer would get about $10k in mods. If you are interested please PM me with a fair offer. I guess if I don't get offers I will be parting out my truck. And most of what I've listed I will sell seperately so let me know if you'd like something.

My wife is due any moment so if I don't reply, it's because we're busy

DD, thanks for sharing your experiences with you 80 and your taco!

and thanks for the compliments zulu.

Beautiful rig! I would like to copy your camper/tent set-up. My 2000 Taco ex-cab is very similar to your truck. I would appeciate any input as to what I need to purchase to get mine there. Thanks! You should have no trouble selling this
rig. Have you posted it on Tacoma Territory?
