The neighbors are unhappy (I live in a condo) about my 40 sitting outdoors behind the garage. My wife's car gets the garage. So, as much as I hate to, been thinking that it may be time to let her go. She's a 3/1980, originally from Florida, via West- by- God Virginia. The good: mini PS, new Toyota gas tank, new rear crossmember courtesy Cruiser Solutions, new Toy front bib, freshly rebuilt 2F engine w/emissions installed (runs great), a/c (not installed, old dealer install, came in it new, I think), no rear heater, frame excellent, tires good (rims are steelies), new windshield, new rear drum (CCOT) brakes, new stock muffler, good front fenders (one slightly dented, no rust), new front bumper, decent hood, almost new jack, tools w/case...

So i have come to the conclusion that in todays market I can not aford my 4runner anymore and need to down size to a car until i am out of college and in the real world... Selling my 2000 Toyota Tacoma. It has a 3.4L V6, 5spd manual, 4 wheel drive, 3" lift, new rims and all terrain tires (33 x 10.5) with only about 13k miles on them and no rubbing. The vehicle has just over 70,000 miles! Truck also has a K&N air filter charger, upgraded rear shocks (Rancho RS9000XL), new car seat covers and matching dash mat. A full fluid exchange with synthetic fluids done throughout the entire vehicle with new platinum sparkplugs. Also has a plastic bedliner, manual door locks and windows. It looks like the economics of owning the Land Cruiser doesn't make sense for my family, hopefully some day in the future it will again. I have a 1991 with 318k miles in average shape. The springs were changed out last year with a newer set and added 1/2" spring spacers. Belts were also replaced as were brake pads. There is no clicking in the axles, and she runs really strong. This is a daily driver that hasnt let me down, and recently made a camping trip run, loaded down with gear. The only big negative is the A/C needs charged, it is still R-12, it ran cool to cold till i attempted to charge and let some refrig out and now there isnt enough for the sensor to allow it to run. he is in great shape. 205K miles had it serviced by Urban Land Cruisers in ATL last year, (cause i thought i would keep it forever), then the job changed and i have to drive, a lot.
all the belts replaced, all the hoses replaced. the tires have 8K miles on them, so they got a ways to go. no rust. he runs like a champ. everything works, all the windows, all the buttons. it has an aussie auto locker in the rear.
the bad there is a leak in the PS gear box, i have to fill the pump about every 1 1/2 months. not real fast, just there. the light for Drive on the dash does not work. has some natural pin striping, but that just adds character.
