GOT ONE!! Thanks for all the help. I'm looking for an 80 or LX, 93-97, prefer 97. I would like it to have factory lockers, less than 200k miles, and I would prefer white. I don't mind if it is built or stock, because I'm gonna build it anyway. I have cash in hand, but don't want to spend more than $8000 if I have to build it, or $12,000 built. I don't mind travelling to get it, but I would prefer a Western US truck to keep the rust and salt damage to a minimum. You can pm me, email me ewlawrence@gmail.com, or we can talk on the phone (number through PM). Thanks. Erik

1971 Internation Harvester 1210 3/4 ton pickup in Utah $800 Located in Salt Lake City, Ut 3/4 ton longbed pickup for sale. Runs great, 77000 original miles, 4speed with granny gear. I recently did a tune up including new plugs, wires, and...
Hi all, Doubt I have much of a chance of finding this particular item but I'm looking for carb floats in good condition (i.e. no leaks!) from the 1F single-barrel carburetor. I have a nicely rebuilt carb in my '65 FJ40 but the original float started leaking and trying to fix this problem has been a plague on me for over a year now. I've tried soldering it up, getting a second one (also leaked), painting it with POR-15 to seal it- everything I can think of, but none of those things have worked and now I've got an inoperable FJ40 again. So I'm looking for a fresh float that doesn't leak. Thanks! Andy

Hi everyone! I just joined the forum. I'm a rural carrier for usps and need a right hand drive vehicle for work. I'm trying to find an automatic 4x4 with a diesel engine for the gas mileage. Anyone have something for sale? Any help? I'm near Seattle, WA. I've on this forum that maybe there are exceptions for importing rhd for letter carriers. There are a lot of rhd vehicles just a few hours away in Canada. Would really like an old BJ40 or something like that. I've read that the automatics were only made for the US though, so maybe rhd doesn't exist? Thanks in advance for any help. ~Nathan

The story: 2nd owner, purchased at ~60k miles in 2003. Decided in late 2009 that I was going to turn it into an expedition vehicle for weekend trips (attending overland expo, became an avid reader of expeditionportal.com). Unfortunately, my new job is in Los Angeles and I no longer have space for a second vehicle. I drove the 4Runner up from San Diego to my parents' place in San Jose a couple months ago when I moved to LA. My dad has been driving it once a week on the weekends, but it's no longer getting the use it deserves. The specs: ~184k miles 1997 SR5 V6 5-speed 4wd Factory locking rear diff The aftermarket: - Sonoran Steel System 1.2 lift - Stubbs Welding HD-SKO sliders - BudBuilt skid plate - Toyo Open Country...
