I am selling a 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. The truck is white with the blue grey interior. The truck has 125,000 original miles but is not currently running. I previously purchased this truck to install a 1HZ diesel and H55 5-speed. I ended up abandoning this project in lieu of a 40 project. The truck is located in Thomasville, Georgia, at Rob Smith's shop. The truck spent the majority of it's life in Sante Fe, NM, and Reno, NV. It is rust free (body and frame). There is a small amount of surface rust in a spot towards the rear bumper from what appear to be a parking lot skirmish - nothing major though. With a big ache in my heart I am selling my beloved Land Cruiser. I bought this truck to fix it up and drive it down all the way to Patagonia.
Plans have changed and now I am moving to Kenya and unfortunately LHD vehicles have been outlawed there (they drive on the left like the Brits).
This Cruiser is originally a gas vehicle (FJ60) from California. A guy in Oregon bought it and also bought a BJ60 in Canada and swapped it's 3B diesel engine and 5-speed transmission into the FJ60. He also added a CT-26 Toyota turbo to the truck for extra power. The truck has a 5 inch body lift, 33 BFG tires and custom bumper and bull bar + badlands winch + fog lights. It easily does 21 miles / gallon highway and backcountry driving combined.

Bought a new truck and do not need the LC anymore. It has been my daily driver. State inspection until October 2018. Pretty original, not much rust, you can see the worst spots in the pics. Clean interior. 209,000 miles. Runs great for a 30 year old vehicle.

It pains me to do this, but I'm putting up for sale my 1984 FJ60. I just recently purchased the vehicle and intended on keeping it as my "forever" truck, however things have changed. I recently found out I would be going back into the military and could use the money.
The truck is 33 years old and has normal issues that you'd expect with a vehicle this age. Some rust spots (the frame is good though). But starts up every time and is a pleasure to drive. I've used it and will continue to use it as my daily driver.
It has been desmogged. E-brake could be tightened a bit. Holds on a slight incline and obviously when the vehicle is off and in gear. Missing the passenger side rear view mirror. R12 needs recharged or retrofit to R134a...

147270 miles.
Not so foxy yet strong, running vehicle that has served me well. There was some wheeling in the past but mostly it’s been to the dump and Home Depot. A great foundation for restore to pretty or rock-crawler ugly. I figure it’s a $2500 truck with 2K of accessories attached.

I've got a new travel trailer to pay for, so it's time to let the old girl go. Clean FJ60 with original 2F, emissions intact, interior in great shape. Upholstery shows little wear (unheard of in a 35 yo vehicle), protected by SOR woodland camo seat covers. Carpet in similar good condition, protected by heavy duty diamond plate rubber mats. Great vehicle for build out, or restoration to stock. Starting to show rust in spots (pictured), significant paint wear on hood and cabin roof. I don't have a garage to keep it out of the rain.
