I have a '72 FJ55 project that I am having to sell - just do not have a place or time to finish the project.
The FJ55 is mostly stock - wheels are white spoke (15 x 8)
I can provide pictures on request.
The body is in relatively good condition. The 2 front doors are dented in but I have replacements that are straight. The passenger side rear door is damaged and I have a straight replacement for this door also. The passenger side rear wheel well will require some body repair.
I have a disc brake front axle (with brake booster/master cylinder as well as a rear axle assembly with an Auborn Gear locker - both included.
New shocks.
I have a new carpet kit for the FJ55 which is also included.

i have a 2000 cherokee that is dark blue that i would like to trade for a fj55. the cherokee is a great daily driver. it is the 4wd sport model.
i peg the cherokee's value somewhere between 4k and 6k, but that is not necessarily my budget.
the jeep has 150k, with fresh tranny and strong compression. everything works on the cherokee, even has a dvd flip out and great stereo. (can be removed)
the fj55 can be stock or modified. i would not mind a v8, as long as it is not a motor plate mounting style. it can be a project that was not finished, running or not.
let me know what you have. i had a capable fj40 at one time and am ready to ride deep in a 55

I went to the Fall Gathering last weekend and my beautiful pig sat in the campground all weekend. Basically I didn't want to scratch it up on the trails. I've decided I want more of a trail rig than a show type rig.
I was thinking of putting sliders on it and doing it up a bit but everyone last weekend complemented me on how clean and straight it was. It would really be a shame to destroy basically perfect sheet metal especially on an FJ55. I'd rather sell it and get something already modded a bit. Pigs are rare in the is condition so killing one for my own pleasure is too much for my conscience to handle.
UPDATE: I've agreed to buy another cruiser but gotta sell this one first.

I am selling my 1970 FJ55. SOA, Saginaw, no engine or transmission. It has a good 3 Speed transfer case. Typical rust in rockers and front fenders. This truck is ready for a V-8. I have a few extras for it and I will include a good 2F for another $400 if someone wants a 2F. This has not been abused and not wheeled hard. I am trying to thin the herd.

I have a 1973 FJ55 I purchased a while back with intentions of restoring. I have been tied up with my FJ40 and other obligations and the "pig" has just been sitting. I'm trying to clean out some things and the pig needs to go. I know some of you (Lou) are familiar with this one. The engine and everything under the hood are pulled right now. I have the transfer case and 3-speed transmission as well as SOME engine pieces. It would be great for a V-8 conversion or another F or 2F. The frame is solid and body is ok with the normal rust but it's not a bad start. The interior is pretty good. I MAY part this out later if no one wants it but I'd rather sell it as a whole. It is full of good parts if anyone needs a parts vehicle. I'd like to get...

Tax man is at the door and I need to get rid of my 55 project. '77 model with Factory P/S, Shackle reversal kit, 2-1/2" softride front springs Set up for Chev V8 Conv. with motor mounts welded in place. Interior is bare, no front seats, but I do have the rear bench. I have a Chevy V8 complete and running (not installed), AA conv Bellhousing stock 4spd trans/xfer, driveshafts. Body overall is good, definatly restorable. Rust on lower side front fenders, rain gutter and tailgate.
