both are green and white, 1974, runs good, all stock, some rust, mostly in the fenders, some dings and dents, picked up from the original owner. 1970 for the most part rust free, bad engine, last registered in 1986. both have titles and are in Helena MT $2200 for both, or $900 for the 74, $1500 for the 70. or offers?
this is the 74
1971 Toyota FJ55 Landscuiser. It has 1000 K miles on the rebuilt engine. It's the original F1 straight 6 engine. The clutch and original brakes were recently done. It has front, rear new brakes, calipers, master cylinder, radiator, clutch, muffler, and alternator. The valves have been adjusted and a complete tune up. Interior is in great shape, the body, bumpers, etc. are in good condition. There is about 6 inches of rust in the left rear and right rear side. 4 Year old paint. Vehicle is in original shape no custom parts except for the stereo. Vehicle located in Long Beach, California.

Well, it's finally time to part with my FJ55.
This beast has been with me for 15 years. Bought back in 1993 in New Mexico. Truck was originally from Texas before that. In 1995 the original straight six tractor motor died. Instead of a rebuild I opted for a 350 conversion which included a Ranger 2 speed overdrive, a 4 speed toyota gear box, and a new front axle with disk brakes for kicks. All the work was performed by Toyotas R Us (now called Classic Cruisers) in Salida, Colorado. No body work or paint work other than some touch up paint. Typical rust along the lower edges although I've seen much worse. There are a few dents and dings. Headliner is relatively new. Just bought it last year and drove it home it runs great. It has the 350 chevy conversion, no smog needed. It has the stock transmission and transfer case, 4X4 works. The body work was done when I bought it and just had it painted. It has a 3" shackle lift with aluminum wheels and nice 32" tires. It has all the parts to put together.

Well we have all heard the project story before. Don't have time, babies on the way, building a house, ect.... My story is this. I picked up another project htis weekend that I just couldn't resist. I know now my time and money will go to the new project and I'm just being realistic. I could use the space and a little extra cash also.

I am selling my 1972 FJ55. This vintage Land Cruiser is in good condition. This truck is driven occasionally and is a dependable vehicle.
This TLC was originally sold in Texas and is now in Phoenix, Arizona. This truck has never left the American Southwest.
We are uncertain of the mileage, the cable to the speedo was disconnected when we purchased the truck. We notice very little rust on this vehicle. The upholstery has been replaced and the tires have low mileage. The dash and instrument panel could use some work. This is a great candidate for a restoration.

this is a basic fj55 in southern california, I put a 2f head on the f engine because the old one was cracked, the carb was replaced at the same time but then it has been sitting for about six years and is started up occasionally to make sure things work, and it runs fine after warming up and getting some nice fresh $4 gas in it but sometimes it takes a while to get it to idle. the clutch is in great shape, unfortunately after doing all the repairs the car has sat around. now I need to sell it. it needs a complete interior, I have the seats and headliner bars but no door panels or dash. Ok i had this in the fj-55 section, here it is. Up for sale is a 73 55 in all its former glory. Plenty of rust (see pics) however the frame is surface rust only and shows no signs of weak points anywhere. Drivers side floor board was patched poorly by PO, it does the job. Door seals need work and most of the bottoms of the four doors have fixable rust. Tail gait needs to be replaced and the rear window in manual now, was working last summer. I bought this rig around a year ago. I purchased it in South Dokota and drove it back; a 1000 mile trip. The cruiser did fine the whole way, in sub 0 temps. Since the purchase it has been my daily driver (looking at the pics i know this may be hard to believe, trust me...
