New oem carb installed after vehicle was desmogged. I have owned the rig for 7 years and it has never let us down. Has usual rust bubbles in the roof and rocker panels and fender edges. Everything is original except for the lift and tires. Interior is complete with a few tears in the seat. 1979 FJ55 For Sale Air conditioning as original option Dual fuel. Runs on propane and gasoline. Truck body was restored with metal cut out and new metal welded in. No bondo patches. Paint very good but has a few runs and some chips. Paint included. Found one rust spot below the tailgate and just above the bumper. About the size of a silver dollar. Selling a 1972 FJ55 body and chassis that would be a great candidate for restoration – particularly if you want to re-power the truck with something other than a 1F. The third owner of the truck began dismantling it for restoration around 10 years ago, working on it off and on in his garage over the years, but eventually lost interest in the project. The body is in very good shape with very few dents or dings. The typical rocker panel, fender, and rain gutter rust is not present on this truck. Notice in the pictures that these areas are in outstanding condition. Year: 1978 Make: Toyota Model: Land Cruiser FJ55 I bought this less than a year ago and it has been awesome. Great off road and still does 80 down the freeway. I just got engaged and the fiance needs a safe rig to drive so I am looking to trade or partially trade for an FJ80. The rig is located at the moment in San Carlos, Mexico (4 hours south of Nogales, AZ. Just drove it down there from L.A. in Dec. '06). Can do the business in AZ. Since I have to post a price I'm gonna say $7,000 but like I said I would rather trade for an FJ80. The vehicle hasnt given me any trouble at all. FJ55(s) for sale

I have 3 FJ55's for sale they are all parts trucks, and they are posted here because I am NOT parting them out. years are 1969, 1971, 1976 (I am pretty sure). one is complete the white one missing much of the body, but has full running drivetrain. the 1969 has the best body however motor mounts have been cut off the frame and has no engine trany/tranfer. The 71' is complete but does not have radiator, not running, but is in tact. Take 1 or all, they are in the San Diego California area and local pickup only. '75 FJ55 for sale $9000.00

Greetings from sunny Ca. I still have my 55 for sale. I've lowered the price to $9000.00 in an effort to sell quickly. I've posted it already on this board last month. Some of the goodies on the rig are: VintageAir a/c, Mudrak p/s, Wilwood front disc brake conversion, recent rebuild on the engine (6 cyl.) tranny and transfer case, third row seat, custom HD rear bumper, good paint. There is some light rust on the left rocker and on the front fenders where the upper/lower parts meet. Vehicle is in great condition and is capable of being a daily driver.
