FJ55 - sprung over on 36's
I bought this 55 back in 2001 when I lived in Wyoming and have done all the work on it except for the carb rebuild that I had done on day 1. Here is a list of everything on it (or atleast everything that I can remember): Drivetrain * stock 2F with aluminum radiator * taurus electric fan * new exhaust in 2007 * 100 amp chevy alternator * newer water pump and hoses * SM465 with 3 speed case - drives good on the street and the granny gear is great for wheeling * Marlin hysteer with large pattern knuckles, vented discs and large piston calipers * rear lockright locker Interior * Front seats were replaced with cloth buckets - super comfortable * center console * new headliner goes with it. The existing headliner is torn...
1973 FJ55 for Sale
My buddy is selling his FJ55 (located in Sonoma CA) it has a little more than 56k miles on it, 4 wheel drive (both High and Low Range) with external locking hubs. The original 3 speed transmission was replaced with a 4 speed. Power Steering was added along with an Air Conditioning system that runs R134a. Gary Kardum (an expert in the art of properly building and setting up a land cruiser) of “Mudraks” in Sonoma CA rebuilt this motor less than 8 thousand miles ago. Other upgrades include: Headers; an ARB Roof Rack; CB Radio; and a 12 volt DC to 120 Volt AC inverter. Fresh paint less than a year ago. There are a few rust spots where the paint has blistered, but over all this is a really solid FJ55. There is an inner window seal...
If I weren't trying to fund my 40 I wouldn't be selling. The engine alone is worth my high end asking price. 350/700r4 (auto w/overdrive), custom everything. Super fun. Will need a little cosmetic work. 5k (obo) as is 3,500 stripped (winch, cb, stereo) click my sig for pics or e-mail at jjjvjackson@msn.com Thanks Will consider motorcycles for partial trade (kids bikes in particular and v65 sabre would be ideal).
This FJ55 has less than 57,000 original miles on it, and features 4 wheel drive (both High and Low Range) with external locking hubs. To make this car more fun to drive, the original 3 speed transmission was replaced with a 4 speed. Power Steering was added along with an Air Conditioning system that runs R134a, to keep the insides cool. Gary Kardum of “Mudraks” in Sonoma CA rebuilt this motor less than 8 thousand miles ago. Gary is widely recognized as an expert in the art of properly building and setting up a land cruiser. Other upgrades include: Headers; a Roof Rack by “ARB” (great looking, and tough as nails!); CB Radio; and a 12 volt DC to 120 Volt AC inverter. The car is fun to drive and handles well on the road, as well as off...
I think I have both my cruisers sold or should have them gone by the end of the month. I am looking to buy a pig for camping, light wheeling, and grocery grabbing. Ideally it will be a relatively stock looking pig on the outside. Minimal rust please. I know that's a lot to ask but I have no time for major body repairs. Interior close to stock is great but wouldn't mind some comfortable buckets up front. Generally clean too as my wife will complain about it constantly if it's destroyed inside. A Chevy 350 is slightly preferred as I'll be towing a 101 trailer, tons of junk, and my family. A strong 2 or 3F would be fine as well. It'll put a lift on it quickly if it doesn't already have one. SOA is illegal in MA so likely won't...

74 FJ55 111k Denver runs great $2300 OBO
This Classic Land Cruiser is a running dependable totally stock FJ with 111K on it’s 1F that is completely unmolested & therefore I would not hesitate to drive it across country tomorrow. It has good tires, front & rear heaters, lights, power rear window, high & low range 4x4 gear case, fresh Mobil 1, clean Colorado title, full Interior with door panels, wipers, good clutch & a 3 speed manual. This Pig is ready for off road fun, moving, work or a possible full or rat resto & even comes with the boat in photo if wanted. I’m only selling because I got a deal on a FJZ80 & can’t keep 2 trucks at my place. Trust me she’s got a lot of character & that in addition to being a moving car show bums me out to sell her but we can’t take...

1975 FJ55 Toyota Land Cruiser----- SOLD SOLD 1975 FJ55 Toyota Land Cruiser 4-door wagon. Pretty much stock and original, everything is there. This has been parked for about ten years, beign started and run about twice a year.... not driven though. The motor is strong. 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55
This truck was purchased to be an offroad truck but it is in to good of condition to take out and tear up. It has the original 2F engine, 4 speed manual, mostly stock. When I say mostly I mean that a few things have been repaired by previous owners and have not gone with stock parts. IE - electric fuel pump was added, I am going to order a mechanical to put in. This truck also has an Aussie Locker in the rear that I installed but have not taken offroad yet. I also have one for the front to install. I also have a power steering setup for it but have not installed. The truck runs great and has a new battery in it. The carbuerator has been rebuilt, new manifold gaskets, new points, plugs, wires, air and oil filters, and all of...
1972 FJ-55 Toyota Landcruiser --Modified 35" Tires, V8 EFI, Locking Differentials. Read Below for details! This Toyota Landcruiser is a great classic to own and few FJ55 Cruisers are available at this point in time. This vehicle is heavily modified with over $13,000 invested in building. This is a go anywhere vehicle great for the adventure seeking outdoor enthusiast. The vehicle was my daily driver for 8 years. Drivetrain is very solid with no mechanical problems. The engine could use a tune up for optimal power. I would replace plugs and wires if I were to do anything to the engine at this point in time. Steering has some play and could use a new steering stabilizer in front if driving on road often. This is a great vehicle for...
Revised 5-19-09 I posted this in the 55 section but I figured I would try over here also. I'm still looking for a pig but my plans for it have changed a little. I want to do a nice built Pig. So I'm still looking for one that has a straight and mostly rust free body. If it has things like a proffesional quality SOA or V8 conversion then great but that is not a requirement. I'm just looking for a nice solid base to start on. I would prefer to find something somewhat close to Boise but I'm willing to travel or have the right one shipped. I have been looking in the $4-10K range. What I'm willing to pay will just depend on what the rig has. Shoot me a PM or an email. Thanks, Eric emkcruisers@cableone.net
1975 or older - don't want to deal with smog. Preferably in So. Cal., but willing to pay for shipping for the right one. Don't mind dealing with mechanical or cosmetic issues, but would be ideal for it to be either one or the other and not both. I wish I would have seen this one before it sold: Specter Off-Road, Inc.-Landcruiser Parts & Accessories Reach out anytime with leads, thanks!
Ebay won't let me sell it on there and keeps kicking it off so I'll try here. I have the word "title" in it and am not selling it as a complete vehicle so ebay keeps bumping it out. Ghey... The body is rough. Its been rolled twice and Bobbed. You can have as much or as little of whats left as you want. It has all VIN plates and a clear title. No engine, no doors, no hood... I think it has a brake MC and clutch MC on it. It has all four springs/shackles on it with shackle reversal. I'll post pix later. $500 bucks takes everything. I will trade for 4 31" or 32" (15" wheel) All terrain tires in GOOD shape. I would prefer BFG, but will consider everything. PM me or call 903.363.5558 Located in Longview, TX (two hours east...
