I have decided to up my 55 for sale, I need something a little more practical for me right now, being in school, and driving between salt lake and billings MT. I was looking to get 9,000 for it. I have well over that invested. I would also consider trade for a tacoma xtracab, with 3.4L and a reasonable amount of miles.

1972 FJ55 Runs good needs some brake work other than that this is one tough FJ55. Does have from what I'm told normal Land Cruiser rust in the front drivers and passenger floors. Have some miscellaneous parts that go with. Extra parts are rear heater, master brake cylinder, front drive shaft. More Pictures upon request. $1500 or best offer. As much as I hate to do it, I'm putting my Piggy up for sale. It might be of particular interest to anyone in an area that has to pass emissions. This truck is completely smog compliant here in Phoenix which has some fairly tough standards.

Yes, it is expensive, but in rare shape and lots of expensive work just completed. Sadly, I've lost interest. The pig and I didn't fall in love like I thought we would.

RHD, daily driver. 110,000 miles. ORIGINAL 2F, carb and 4-speed. Runs like new. New tires, radiator, brakes, battery. Originally in Australia, then Africa (then back to Australia) before coming to US in late 2008 - my daily vehicle since. White over Navajo Brown; body has two small surface rust areas, none on undercarriage that I can find. Few typical dings (never been painted). Rare ambulance doors. Looks like the body has been restored and it runs, looking for an interior restoration. asking $6k.
I bought this Pig a few years ago with the intent to build it up. Found an FJ60 that received the time and money, so this 55 spends her time waiting for me to start her up once in a while. It's sad, but I can't justify the cost these days.
I'll get photos up soon along with the details, but I figured I'd get this thing posted to start with.
The body has normal rust and some army-lookin' thick green paint. Riveted front quarter panel patch, bottom edge cut from rear quarter panels, rocker panels cut and replaced with square slider tubes. Suspension has shackle reversal. Engine is 2F, 4-speed, Colorado emissions passed (warm day with idle adjusted up to 1000). Bucket seats up front, cheap plastic console on the floor.

I imported this years ago and sold it like a dummy. Sold it to a teacher in Minnesota. His friend his helping him sell it thru his dealership.
It's for sale again for less than I sold it for. Someone should buy it. it's damn near perfect. Body was restored professionally in AU. Perfect. has AC as well

Putting one of my off road rigs up for sale. I have had it about 7 years or so:
1973 FJ55 Toyota Land Cruiser
-V8 conversion, did have a 350 but it was overheating so I swapped in an ’86 305 with factory 4 barrel and H.E.I The engine will need some attention as I suspect #2 cylinder to be going down, thought it was timing issue at first but unfortunately not, as it runs better on 7 cylinders than on 8.
-Scout power steering conversion with hydraulic assist, had to do this, as apposed to the usual Saginaw due to the PTO winch, works great
-Set up for on board air with remote tank, but the compressor is shot, I have another to replace it with, just haven’t put it on there...
