At the owners request, I just reduced this truck from $28,500. She has considerably more invested her.
This 1971 Toyota FJ40 Hardtop received a frame-off rebuild by the owner and is powered by its factory 3.8 liter F engine paired to a 3-speed column shift manual gearbox. This truck was originally white. Extensive paint and body work was performed and the truck was repainted in Medium Blue (857) and presents well. The current owner purchased the truck in December 2012 and she has been garaged since the purchase. The 30x9.50 BFG All Terrain tires are nearly new and wrapped around OEM 15" steel wheels with hubcaps.
The truck has new LED headlights, Bilstein shock absorbers, all fluids refreshed, new distributor, thermostat, belts...
Looks like it could be a good start for the price.

Nice paint job, all metal work on tub completed. Has a mix of years of cruisers, later model Tub with early doors and top but includes flip out windows on the side of the hardtop. Getting ready to part out or sell this 1967 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. I do not have a title; why I am parting out but would sell whole if there is interest. No engine and no trans. The tub is in ok shape and could be restored. The rear section near the bumper is rusted out but typical of most of these FJ40’s. The frame has surface rust but is solid and doesn’t seem to have any thin spots. It seems to have been a pretty dry vehicle. The dash panel has been cut out. My brother and I bought this cruiser back in July and just haven't had the time to do anything with it. With some upcoming house repairs the money would be nice and we'd like to pass this on to someone who can use it and appreciate it. Here are the specs:

When I started this project, I had zero kids; now I have 3. We can't fit the whole family in it and I really don't have time to mess with it anymore with 3 kids 5 and under. Drive train:
1F / 1967 SM420 / 4.7:1 Marlin Crawler Toybox / 2.3:1 FJ62 38MM Transfer Case - I rebuilt everything but something is goofy in the transmission. 1st, R, 3rd and 4th are easy to get in to but 2nd shifts really poorly. It probably needs opened back up. The Toybox and Transfer case both shift super smoothly. I built some linkage to have individual shifters...
For sale November 1973 FJ40, originally a soft top, now with a hard top. Body and frame solid. Surface rust on frame. Only significant rust is in driver and passenger foot wells (photos to follow in subsequent post).
F engine with header and Weber, Aisin carb and stock air cleaner included. New fuel tank and fuel sending unit. Gear reduction starter installed. 3 speed transmission.
Front and rear seats recovered.
New Goodyear Wrangler tires (4). NOS Superwinch locking hubs included to replace front drive plates.

1976 FJ40 with 3FE from 1992 80 series.
Great “survivor” truck. History on the cruiser is that I bought it from the son of the original owner. Spend most of its life in CA until it was sold to the son here in SD. This gentlemen is a work colleague so I received a good history on the truck.
The only part that was missing when I bought it was the bezel, which was stolen off the truck when it resided in CA. The top has never been removed! At some point it received a paint job on the exterior due to sun fading when it was in CA which is why the top is no longer white. The interior paint is still original.
I have original cans of touch up paint, tool kit, purchase receipt from dealer, owners manual and vehicle ID card.
