FJ40 LX 1984
Hi, I’m selling my FJ40 LX. The car is from 1984 and has 83k KM on the odometer. It runs and drives great without any mechanical issues or faults. It has been repainted and I think that’s when a new odometer has been installed. My guess is that the car has 200-250k KM. The interior is original with the original front floormat and new door covers. It has the factory a/c installed but the compressor is missing. I have one which I will add to the car. Overall it’s in good condition and may be driven as is. I will be adding more photos. Serious offers please, shipping to the US may be arranged. Thanks Tobi...
1978 BJ40
Selling my BJ40. Excellent running condition. Engine turns over every time, diesel runs perfectly. Inspected and maintained by Toyota Canada Quality Assurance engineer and corporate office mechanic. The truck works, guaranteed. No gremlins. Replaced the brake lights recently. Everything else is relatively stock save the roof rack and front frame with high beams. Love this truck, have to sell, wife is pregnant. Asking $23,000 US Will cover brokerage fees
Is this a steal?
1976 daily driver FJ 40 is for sale near me and The owner is telling me they drive it daily and it runs strong. They won $14,000 for it. There is some rust on the body but nothing major like you would find in the salty belt of the country. The 2F motor is not original but is standard. It needs cosmetic work but runs. The mileage is really unknown as the diameter did not work. What do you think?
N. Idaho- 1971 FJ40 in original spring green paint
Very solid 1971 fj40 in original paint with some bumps and scratches from 30 years of plowing a 2 mile road/driveway. Would make a great winter project. Here are the basics: Solid original paint with front fenders having some paint touch up and bondo. Floors have some surface rust with 2 holes present in drivers floor area. Bench seat has been modified with 2 vw buckets. Rear seats are missing and a period aftermarket roll bar is in their place. Electrical seems to be all working, except horn and burnt out head lights. Drivetrain consists of 250 Chevy 6 with sm420 to 3speed Toyota transfer Case. Decent clutch and 4wd. The engine smokes and I would assume someone would want to replace with Toyota drivetrain. Has a clean title. $6800 Thanks

SOLD Atlanta Georgia, 1972 FJ40
Moving to Hawaii. I need a vehicle more practical for a long commute between Kona and Hilo, an hour and a half drive between two mountains. Would like to trade for a early 200 series or possibly a late 100 series. 1972 FJ40 Land Cruiser, build date Oct 1971. This work was done in Colorado by the previous owner, I have owned this FJ for about a year - Crate SBC 350 with about 17k miles (sorry, previous owner provided no paperwork for the crate engine), new HEI distributor - Holley Sniper EFI with about 700 miles on it. Self-tuning ECU, includes a color touchscreen for advance tuning and gauge displays. Upgraded entire fuel system with new 3/8" fuel lines to properly supply fuel to the EFI unit. Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband oxygen...
1977 Fj40 Sacramento CA area FS/FT
Decided to sell/trade my 77 40. Purchased from the original owner about 1 year 3 months ago now. Cruiser was originally purchased in Indio CA and split it’s life between Palm Springs and a ranch in Arizona where the owner stored it in his airplane hanger. Original 2f with 87+ original miles, 4 speed, and original running gear. Original paint. Rig is pretty well original minus the 4” HFS lift, rear seat, rims, and previous owner put a belt driven onboard air comp. under the hood. She’s a smoker but a runner. I drive it to work, or take the girls to school frequently. There has been some emissions equipment removed, the reason why I registered in Oregon. I have sourced out the parts from a local mud member and it was about $700 for the...

1973 Mustard Yellow FJ40 in Asheville, NC
I got this FJ40 (Myrtle) 10 years ago and had her fully restored (frame-off) by Scott Gesik at Restored FJ40 in Lincoln City, OR in 2011. Seats are not original. I had some work done in 2016 by Marshall at Trollhole Cruisers in Greenville to make her more driveable. I put in a 4 speed transmission, added a headliner and tow hitch, and removed all rusty spots. She drives great, is in beautiful shape with very minimal rust. Just had the brakes restored last month. I have been driving her daily for years but she is now in dry storage in Asheville, NC. $25,000 – serious inquiries only please. I can send more pics if you are interested. Thanks!

1975 FJ40 with small block 400 V8
I am sad to put my 1975 FJ40 up for sale. It was modified to have a small block 400 by the previous owner and runs well. It has new 33x12.5 tires, new carburator, radiator, fan, u joints, front brakes conversion to disc, master cylinder, spark plug wires, door handles including the ambulance door latch, rebuilt steering gear box, ignition switch. It is a good driver, but I am just not in a position to give it the love it needs and can't afford to just hold onto it either. I am asking $20,000. Please feel free to contact me at haarvlekje@yahoo.com.
1960 FJ25L "Historic" Restoration
I wanted to point this BaT Auction out to the FJ25 fans out there. I'm not nearly as familiar with the 20-series as I am the 40-series but this consignment appears to be a very well done restoration. She comes complete with many hard to find parts and was built by passionate people who care and do their best to do it right. Correct Koito headlamps, Darth Vader light, Japan Mitsuba wiper motors, correct dash plates, specialty tires, generator vs alternator, soft top and bows manufactured as close to original specs as possible, etc. You can't duplicate what came out of the factory in 1960 but I think this is pretty close! Check it out and feel free to bid / comment. The Auction ends tomorrow. Thanks, G...
