Recently had to have my 100s towed to the shop. I was under the impression that you either needed a flat bed or have wheel lift truck lift all four wheels. Tow truck driver insisted that he only needed to lift the rear of the car if the transfer case and transmission were in neutral. The tow was about two miles, is there any reason to be concerned or is the tow driver correct.

Your owner's manual has a section on this. Not ideal, but for a short distance and low speeds, it's fine.
