Bought a Delta VS washer fluid relocation bracket and fabricated my own bracket to mount my Switch Pro above the cruise control unit. Seems to be working pretty well for now.

Removed the resonator from the air box, Purchased a new hose from somewhere to bypass it. Don't remember where but I found the part number on the forum.

Having removed the resonator and bracket, I was then able to install a @sleeoffroad 95-97 dual battery tray and dual arb compressor mount. the tray relocates the radiator overflow. It's very snug, but it fits. I had to use some fittings to relocate one of the compressor air filters because of the Slee bracket doesn’t allow it to fit. I don't love it how it is, but it is what I had on hand that allowed the hood to be closed. I'm going to find another solution at some point.

Soon after I brought the 80 home I realized the battery in it was shot. I upgraded to an AGM and a couple of years later added the second AGM. Slee Terminals are awesome, though I wish I had a bit more room under the hood for some better organization on a buss bar. For now it's working. Added an Ironman battery maintainer to connect the two.

EDIT: removed the iron man maintainer, not compatible with AGM batteries apparently.

Installed an ARB pressure control module. I have one on my 200 and it works pretty slick for airing back up. Too slow for airing down so I plan to install the same apex valves I have on the 200. I ran an air chuck to the front bumper, may add one to the rear as well.

You've been quite busy! Lots of great mods going on with this and glad that you are enjoying as built to suit!

For the Delta radius arms, I love mine...definitely more clearance than the drop links for the nasty rugged rocks that I crawl here on the east cost. That and the White Knuckle sliders are a must here or I would have bashed many-a-rockers and I'm more careful than most when on the trails.

Yeah, this is a couple years worth of mods all posted in succession. But yes it’s been a fun project. I’m a little confused on how to order those radius arms but I think I’m going to soon. They seem to be the best solution. I’m holding out for Delta VS sliders, but if they’re not available soon I’ll probably just get the White Knuckle.

Solve Function ashtray SwitchPro mount worked great and has a nice solid feel. I was worried it would be flimsy when you push the buttons, but it’s not at all.

Debating replacing the stock stereo. I just kind of like the factory look.

Finally got tired of not having a spare- 35” won’t fit underneath. I Installed a Slee rear bumper. I’ve owned many Slee products and fit and finish is always top notch.

Customized license plate installed. Parked next to a 1976 40 I rescued from a field a few years back and sold to my brother who has improved it quite a bit with new suspension, wheels, tires and other mods. V8 under the hood. He’s improved it so much I kind wish I would have kept it. Fun to pull up to a meeting and see my bro there in his LC as well. Not too many cruisers in our small valley.

Keep the stock stereo. I still have mine in my 1993. Get more thumbs up about it than you would think.

Yeah I just like the stock unit and all its old school buttons. I have memories of making my dad listen to my smashing pumpkins CD on our way to work back in 93. He probably didn’t like it at all but just let me play it and pretended that be did. 😂

Fixed my D Light. I actually replaced them all. Also ordered a new OEM cluster glass. Well, plastic.

Towed the 80 3.5 hrs to leave at @cruiseroutfit for a few days. Ollie installed front and rear Eaton lockers, regear to 488 and RCV chromoly axles which resulted in axle and knuckle rebuilds. We went with the factory 80 locker switch. Turned out great, they do excellent work. The regear with 35s has been really nice.

Thank you!

Alright now...this is turning into a "put a dollar in for 30 seconds more" type of show...

Awesome build as said before that just keeps getting better. Slider wise, you can't go wrong with either, but I know for sure that I've beat the :poop: out of my White Knuckles and they still look like new except for a few rash scrapes underneath.

And I'm sure that @Delta VS would be happy to help you pick the right arms...I have the 3's, but may go 3L if I bump to 37's...the 3's seem perfect with a similar lift as yours and 315's, but I may need more clearance with the 37's.

Also, love that you are keeping some of the OG parts such as stereo and wheels...:steer:. My head unit was already upgraded on mine and then further with a Sony touch screen by me...but I love the 80 wheels...I run either these or the LX450's depending on where I am with tire preference and what is mounted to each at the time. Its tough finding the 16" in 37's, but they are out there...just not much on the Marketplace Ap where I seemed to find great deals on my 2 sets of 315's.

And lucky you being relatively close to @cruiseroutfit ... I've only had the pleasure of mail order, but always a great experience with parts availability, delivery time, and tech help on the phone with questions. :wrench::wrench:

Next up if you haven't done it is a grab bar...try @landcruiserjunky to see if he has a source...was getting them from Australia and I think mentioned somewhere that he may be getting more. Perfect for both the passenger grab of course and a clamp mount for a tablet. Any my phone is mounted to the @Delta VS clock replacement mount for 93-94 dashes like ours.

Brown one is @efjayatee , grey one is mine...

Awesome. I didn’t realize a grab bar was an option, I like it.

Yeah, in the middle east or Australia they were somewhat common...ghosted in the US! That said, very easy to install, just that first hole in a cherry fresh 30 year old dash was a pucker moment! Mounting points are already behind the dash, so no customizing except for the new holes...

I fact the mounting points are already present under the dash in the USA spec 80 series. At least 91-94. Just measure twice the cut once through the dash. I did this mod 15 years ago. Not sure if the OEM grab bars are still available

Super nice rig ! And great find.
IMO it’s not a poverty pack. Cloth seats and no fake wood is a nice find but doesn’t make it a poverty pack.
