@JohnVee you already have my address. Not 85/29 route but close enough for government work. Just now beginning my journey down the 100 series journey too. I'm only at three cruisers but six vehicles. Lets also tell the wife I bought it, especially if it shows up on a tow truck. She loves the addiction so much :dummy1:

nice use of the word dandy, dandy...
I thought about using ‘handily’ but that led to ‘dandily’, then I started questioning how cromulent that word is,,,then I remembered how, upon first meeting you, you struck me as some sort of Renaissance dandy. So, dandy it was.

You must not have watched tv in the 90, Dave! I think you’d like the episode in question. @fj40z knows what I’m talking about.

Success! I picked up the 470 Sunday afternoon in Richmond. Decided to just fill the tank and go (very unlike me). I had the most basic of tools with me for comfort. Other than not wanting to stay running after gassing up, it did great for the 325 miles to home. Haven’t had that problem since. The shattered-assed windshield even held up. 16.21mpg over highway miles. Nakamichi stereo sounds pretty good.

I’ll take some pics once the sun comes out.

16.2 mpg - pretty nice :). Lots of threads on the windshield and replacement on the 100 board, though I am sure you've seen them already, congrats!

On our LX, I had some stumbling at idle after filling up that was accompanied with some hissing from the fuel fill cap. Never threw a code. It turned out to be the charcoal canister. Your problem may not be related but if you notice that the tank is getting pressurized, the CC is the first place to start. Congrats on your purchase! Nakamichi > Mark Levinson IMO.
