I’ll be picking up and driving an LX470 from VA to CLT sometime Thursday thru Monday. I have no reason to believe that it won’t make it, but I’d like to know I have a place to have it towed if necessary (meaning within 200 miles of my departure point if I’m not yet at the halfway point). Anybody willing to let me use their address if needed? I promise I’ll get it fixed up ASAP from there!

I’ll either be taking 95/85 or 29/85 depending on which day I pick it up. That means I’ll be departing Richmond or Manassas.

And, oh yeah...I bought another Cruiser. No pics until it’s in my hands.

Would be welcome at my place but, if you can make it to Lake Norman, you probably would go the rest of the way home. LMK if you need it - would be happy to host.

Best of luck

Same here. Only the case that 200 milles is my lot and your house is 202

Yes, this makes 5. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Not at all! Since I'm at "only" 4 I can now aspire to be like you and so many others......

I strive to be counted among the bestest and mostest. But I'll make sure to not let you feel inferior for only having 4... I can remember those days.

3 hours to my house. 2.5 hours home.

Have it towed to in front of my LX450 and we can sell them together to get you back down to a 4 Star Mudder from a 5 Star.

Same here...what’s another cruiser in the driveway that won’t move under it’s own power!

I could even give my wife the anger and tell her I bought another one...but I hope you don’t break down.

Yes, use my address - not really off the beaten path to clt at all if you come the back way....

You have my home aswe..... oh well it's the thought that counts ;)

More than welcome to dump it at my shop if it craps out early.. I'm just north of Richmond.

I’m way down in apex and have plenty of room. But hoping you have zero issues. Congrats on the new purchase.

If ya make it and break it near gso, gimme a call. you can drop it here

Hate to say it, but have you considered having a transport company move it? It's only a short distance, so it's likely not expensive. For reference, I paid about $500 to get a suburban from Miami to here. Paid $900 to get the 60 from Phoenix to here.... I'd doubt it would be more than 200 or so.

I'd help if I thought it made sense to help - but I think where I am doesn't lend itself to being part of the process...

Like everyone said, you can drop at my house if you need to. Hell, you can walk to the airport from my place and fly home :)
