Amazing F. I can't imagine how thrilled you must be right now. This is absolutely the best thing I have seen all week. As always super impressed. Well done.
Very happy. Now if I don’t end up covid positive will be amazing luck. 5 staff that go all over the building and 7 residents that they shipped out. Back to weekly testing. This week and next will be very telling. Fuuuuuck.

Yeah I think we are all thinking about you on that. Wife is a nurse so I am all too familiar with the challenges of taking care of folks right now. All I can say there is I wish you the best and thanks for everything you do for folks all the time.

With a thin layer of cast iron dust and motor oil I’m sure any virus will just slide right off. At least that’s what I’m hoping.

Not running yet buts it’s getting together. Off Sat and will get a nice jump on her.

Here we go. Plus a clean gown and gloves for each patient regardless if roommates.
I did clean up the middle sections of the frame rails earlier, ran a tap (M8 1.25) through all the fuel and brake line bolt holes then sprayed it down w/ ospho. Shoulders and arms are wiped.

Makes me think of a 4 letter word..........HERO 😉 stay safe

Bits of pieces...
Tommy thanks again for the fuel lines! @tmxmotorsports

I need to get the frame gussets (I think that’s the name) held on w/ bolts and nuts on top and welded to the rails. I need to remember I can’t get ahead of myself. Too easy to plow forward.

Ok let’s do this!

Welp.... four beads of super ugly bugger welds. I won't even take pics they are so awful. Metal prep on the gussets weren’t as good as it could have been and I swear zinc weld just makes it worse. BUT the gussets are on. I grind down and redo maybe after work tmrw. I blame the combo of two beers and my blond roots...

So you welded over that primer?
It’s that weld through stuff. I need to stop trying to use it. But really the metal prep underneath on the gussets stank. I bullnosed through even after the first went poorly.

^^^
I agree. Good job.👍🔧🛠

Which brand of weld through primer did you use? The stuff we used on my son’s bumper project welded sooty, but we got decent beads laid down. I’m skeptical about how well it will prevent rust (and we llive in Colorado, so don’t have the salt issues as badly as you have) but I’m hopeful that it’ll help.
