Got a pretty sweet hand me down from an ex boyfriend this weekend....
Then Sunday did a 4/5 mile loop called Punch Bowl Trail in RI w/ members from the local group Yankee Toys.
I was not prepared for so much rock! Did the first part in 2H and not aired down. After a number of yards of very bumpy rock I got out and locked the hubs and put it in 4lo. But this was RI so it was only a matter of 10 mins and then we were on pavement again and o had to pop it out doing the reverse trick. There was one other 60,
@EasternYeti, James who was doing the same thing. The 80’s and LX series kept driving up next to me, “you okay?”

Seemed like I was running out of gas (new sender might not be giving me accurate readings OR the gauge really is bunk) so James saved me and hooked me up w/ a few gallons.
Our guide Mike,
@foxfab tookus thru a small water crossing of which I was freaking out over. Me and my 30” tires were small compared to everyone else’s 33’s and up. Watched Brian,
@Budvar go thru easily, his back end in the first pix. I made it tho I went too fast and once I was nose up on the other side she stalled. Got her going and goosed out quickly.
Looking forward to seeing the video again. I was growling in anticipation thru it all! Last was a tree across the road. I nailed it w/ my fully aired up tires and it was like a brick wall! Took the third time of reversing and putting on the gas to get over it.
After we all convened at Mikes for more food than we could all eat. Great day, gorgeous weather, my dogs survived all the hard slams of my tail end and nothing broke.
And now I’m putting together a leather apron for welding w/ scraps I’ve had from other projects.
