I ordered the cruiser corps seat covers and got them yesterday. The stitching and design seem top notch. It is a vinyl type product so it's not leather but for the money I am very happy. The only way they could be better is if they started out with a expensive leather. I'm planning on ordering the headrest and back seats whenever I get time. I probably won't get to installing mine until the spring though.

I was on the fence about which seat covers to get and researching them and came across this guys build, sscr is the user name and the thread is another 77 resto it's very good he documents everything; he had cruiser corps covers. IMO they are the best covers you can get unless you get the ones custom made by a guy on here that does it but they run 1000+

Funny you mentioned a gift from your parents that's how I got my seat covers. We haven't really done birthday or Christmas gifts the last 8 or 10 years and I was mentioning to my mom on the phone what my girlfriend had gotten me and she threw out the idea of getting something for my cruiser.

Just need a couple of rubber grommets for where the wires pass through the door and will reinstall.

Bumperettes all painted and clear coated read to install. I notice one has a straight edge while the other has two curved sides. Is there an orientation of these?

Looking great! That pewter you sprayed looks fantastic, keep up the good work. Let me know if you find a source for the license plate grommets, I think Cruiser Corps has OEM ones

Are those the cruiser corps covers? I got some of those for my front and jump seats a month ago I am alittle hesitant to try installing them myself. Post up how it goes for you, I'm hoping in the summer I can get around to it. I got the pliers from them as well so I will give it a try before turning to an upholster.
For the rear I'm thinking I'll find some foam at a fabric store to freshen them up some, looks easy to shape in the rear.

edit: just saw i had already posted in your thread about the seats, guess I should have scrolled up with my phone. The seat covers do seem nice, almost to nice to put the metal seat back on making holes
That bolt kit looks great. I keep going back an forth on getting one. I have had to make myself take a break from my cruiser obsession of spending dough to make it nicer... but its so hard with them

post up how installing the covers go, I need something visual to motivate me to give them a try

Yes those are the cruiser corps covers. Seem to be nice quality. I may re-foam the rear ones as that seems pretty easy to do - my existing covers have tears in them and foam is exposed and appears a little bear up. We'll see.

Starting the seat project - bigger than I thought it was going to be. Of course third bolt of the day sheared off. Thankfully the pads look in good shape on the passenger's side. Looks nekkid in there without the seats...

Turned out nice. Amazing how new covers will transform your interior. Did you end up buying new foam for the rear?
Thanks! Definitely dresses things up nicely! I'm working on getting them back in right now.

I didn't buy new foam seemed fine and I couldn't wait. But if I ever decide it needs to be replaced it will be very easy.

Okay so I got them reinstalled! Looks so much better!!!

My metal back panels are pretty trashed (assorted dents) - it will take some work to try to get them smooth and if that is even possible. Seems like pretty thin metal so I'm sure it is. We shall see if I try to tackle that. Ready to get that driver's seat swapped out now!

I'm so glad I didn't take them both out at the same time as I needed to refer back to driver's seat for reassembly. Probably could've figured it out but it made it a lot easier.

They look like they were professionally covered!!
Thanks! Once I figured out how things work with the hog rings and little metal bar retention thingies it went well. Just like I said a bit tedious don't want to mess these things up.
