Definitely an improvement! Kinda wish I took a little more time with it but trying to take advantage of the warm weather. I'll give it a B grade... Better than it was for sure. Now need to make sure no one uses it as a step!

Thanks Danny! You think I would've learned but I think I'm going to re-work the top after painting and clearcoating... Was hoping the clearcoat would cover up my blemishes but just made them worse. Someday I'll learn patience...
Seats and heater came out great! Keep it up!

Okay seats are back in! Nice knowing they are done correctly! The black paint really dresses things up nicely too!

Well only had a couple of hours today and for some reason I chose to make it bumper time. I really want to mount up my step and bumperettes... So needed to paint the bumper. Looks fine, thankfully a lot is covered up by all the stuff on the bumper. 
I also have a stock bumper and an old winch (that needs rebuilding). Bumper is almost perfectly straight, has a little bend in it on one side. Hoping I can straighten. We'll see if I can get the winch working again... I really like the look of a winch on the front end just seems appropriate. Will I ever use it? Not sure...
That was not fun removing that front bumper ended up shearing off several bolts and having to drill some out. Yay.

Okay back end is starting to look good! Love having that step so people won't risk ripping their pants now. It has the original finish on it which looks quite durable and thick. While it isn't as pretty as the new paint, I think it makes sense to keep it that way until maybe I hit it up with rhino liner or something like that.

Thanks! I've seen cruisers with step and hitch. I don't plan on that at this time. But who knows I may want that capability...

When I installed my Aux Tank, I moved my hitch receiver to the front... if I ever buy a winch, it will use a hitch receiver mount. I re-installed my the original hitch (that came with 44) on the back and removed the ball - not a great pic, but you can see my 'step'.

Another small win - can see the switches better now! Took multiple attempts to get the choke one done, finally got out the dremel tool to help.
I haven't followed this thread for a while but you really made a lot of good progress.

Sweet I've got a straight bumper now! Took some improvising but looks pretty good!
Now to blast with my cheapo portable blaster. We'll see if it works.

So my rear heater is finally done! I had posted photos earlier of it repainted and from a distance it looked okay. But it was really not a good job so I redid it. And redid it. Pitting in clear coat. Sand it all off and start again. Used a little skim coat of filler to fill in the small dents. Then finally got it painted and it looked good. On my last coat of clear somehow a long fiber got in there and of course it is dark in color. So instead of waiting until it dried and then wet sanding to get it out and then recoat, I try to pick it out with a razor blade. Well predictably I jacked up the finish. More sanding and then a touch up job and then more clear. Holy hell this thing seemed cursed. I think it took over a month to get this thing painted (a lot of that was due to cooler weather). A very slight blemish in the paint but at this point I am happy it is back in and done. Oi.

Oh I forgot, now I'm in the process of trying to refurb my metal panels for the backs of the chairs. Had some dents so I flattened them as best as I could. Using again a little skim coat of filler to make it look more presentable. We'll see how these turn out have some sanding to do...

Okay stereo now can be checked as 100% complete. I made my more permanent brackets (put steel in vise and bent - isn't that called cold forging? 
). Used Allen head screws to secure which will make them more difficult to steal - and if you're trying to steal these speakers you've got bigger issues. Definitely a cleaner look and I was able to lower the passenger side one so it is more out of view.
Got the first seat back panel primed - it's not great so needs more work. Those panels are tough to work on since they have so many bends. Looks decent primed but I think once the gloss hits it the bad sections will show.
