I ordered the cruiser corps seat covers and got them yesterday. The stitching and design seem top notch. It is a vinyl type product so it's not leather but for the money I am very happy. The only way they could be better is if they started out with a expensive leather. I'm planning on ordering the headrest and back seats whenever I get time. I probably won't get to installing mine until the spring though.
I was on the fence about which seat covers to get and researching them and came across this guys build, sscr is the user name and the thread is another 77 resto it's very good he documents everything; he had cruiser corps covers. IMO they are the best covers you can get unless you get the ones custom made by a guy on here that does it but they run 1000+
Funny you mentioned a gift from your parents that's how I got my seat covers. We haven't really done birthday or Christmas gifts the last 8 or 10 years and I was mentioning to my mom on the phone what my girlfriend had gotten me and she threw out the idea of getting something for my cruiser.
