Hello everyone... am a newbie to this site and I wanted to post some pictures of my Wilwood 4 piston conversion. I did both front and back conversions. I purchased the kit from TSM brakes. It was a complete kit except after I was finished I had a small problem....My stock wheels hit the new Calipers. I need a 3/8" spacer and longer wheel studs. I found 2" wheel studs though Summit racing and they will be here Wednesday. I will post pictures once I install them.
I look forward to your comments.

Maybe just swap out to disk brake OEM wheels? Their website points out that there kits will fit with the disc brake style OEM wheels. You can buy them from a couple vendors on MUD for about 100 bucks each. Something to think about...

I agree with @JohnnyC, you can get new steelies from @beno he has best prices and quality OEM parts.

Yes... I tried them on both front and back, They hit both.... I ran the lug nut all the way down to the rotor and then the wheel
cleared the caliper but I have only Two threads showing. I took a square and measured across the face of the rotor and 3/8".. I think a 1/2" spacer will do the trick.
Here is a picture the wheels mounted on but cannot get the lug nut on all the way.

Hi 78fj40mg... Here is a picture of my 73 911

Hi 78fj40mg... Here is a picture of my 73 911

Thanks for the pic! She's a beauty!

Huh... I wonder if they made early Welded wheels and later ones...I will do some research... I want to thank you guys for all your help.
if I can buy later wheels that will work, I will. I want to keep the FJ as stock looking as possible.. even though Wilwood brakes are far from Stock, my wife will be driving her, along with my Two daughters... I would rather have safety than factory correctness. The FJ is not heading to a museum, just maybe to a local car show, or to pick up a 6 pack of beer.:)
I am going to enjoy the MUD website...you Guys made me feel very welcomed today...Thank you and Happy Fathers Day !!!!

Rocky

Does anyone else think the 4 jack stands on wheel carts is a bad idea? Safety check...

Haven't seen many people with wildwood kits. You might have to get some 16" rims or run spacers if you're okay with that.

I'd highly recommend discs on any truck that's driven. Last way longer, little maintenance, what else need I say.

Oh btw welcome...:flipoff2:

I had a Wilwood front kit for the past 10 years - until I got 60 series knuckles and outers

but the Wilwoods stopped much better than the 60 axle brakes - I wish I could have those back - [alternative solution in the testing stage]

@rocky marsh: just make sure you remove the residual valve from the master cylinder for any circuit that had disk brakes

Hi antFJ.. I want to keep the stock look of the vehicle.. I can live with 3/8" spacers.

DSRTRDR.. Can you point me to a link or describe where the Residual valve is located and how to remove it?
I ordered a partitioning valve just in case I need it.

Bikersmurf... Thank you for welcoming me, and I'm glad to be here...
