I hate right hand drive.

How many out there have converted a vehicle to left hand drive? What exactly did you do and what exactly did you need?

Any really good threads on this? I couldn't find any but I'm not the best at searching.

I know someone who bought a troopy that was done. it was done by someone in Mass, I think. there was a thread in the 45 section? it would have been 2 years ago.
I believe it involved a complete firewall/cowl swap.

This is very popular in the Philippines as they import cars and trucks from Oz and Japan and then have them switched over because RHD vehicles are illegal here. (If you have ever driven here you would know why.)

Of you're gonna do it then a J4 is the truck to do it on. Imagine doing it to a late model car? A nightmare. There was a dude in Africa (Africa has both LHD and RHD trucks) who wanted to reconvert his 40 back to stock. The general consensus was that Toyota tooled up all chassis and bodies for both LHD and RHD configurations. So other than a few small hurdles you'd need a box, linkages, dash cut, windscreen panel, headlights (so they dip to the correct side) and some seats. Others will chime in but of all the conversions from right to left this had to be one of the most straight forward?
