I have a question on these.
Mine doesn’t seem to want to rotate on the left side. Which is the top knob.

You can pull the bottom knob out, but you can not pull out the top knob. Is that correct?

I would like to find one!

That’s how mine works

Are they much work to install on a US spec 87?

I mis-spoke above. Top know does not pull out it only locks the faces. Bottom knob turns to level "roll" and you pull and turn to center "pitch".

There is also a mud member that sells them on Ebay when possible. I have one sitting on my workbench at home waiting for install. From what I have found, my 1985 (late) does not have plug in the dash for connection. There is a video somewhere that @HemiAlex posted for wiring of the plug.

I have one with the altitude (barometer) and it is very precise.
The incline is just not what I look at when about to roll, and going uphill I know it is happening because I have to drive in 2nd gear or less.
I drove 23% up and downhill a few wheeks ago and the incline tells me nothing useful.
Used power for the lights from the sig lighter socket.

Honestly I did Imogene pass and the truck was stalling at altitude under load.

The last thing i thought to do was look at what angle it was at.

The clock is the single most useful part of it.

Working on that!!

3D printing some prototypes of inclometer knobs and radio knobs/faceplates...

I've got to see how they hold up before printing and selling any....

While you're working on the OEM AM radio bezel, maybe look into an adaptor bezel that fits the dash but receives a newer single DIN radio. Thanks!
