A friend is working on his FJ45 engine and needs a cam and oil pump for an H diesel engine, does anyone know where to find these parts. Thanks in advance.

You would have to find another motor, would be hard enough to find those parts for the later model 2H and 12Ht motors.

I have a water pump and an alternator that were spares for my HJ I no longer have. And I have a new set of brake shoes and drums for it that I was getting ready to post. But that's all I have.

Your best bet is to look in Australia.
You can get about every part needed out of Australia. I've also found quit a bit on Amayama.

I bought an aftermarket oil pump for mine a few months ago. Turned out to be an aisin or asco in other packaging. Afterwards I found a guy who has access to parts to refurbish them. Gave him my old one to do. Will check with him today how far he got with the refurb. will also check availability of after market like mine. It was not expensive.
My missus is travelling to USA on 31 March and can take it over. Failing that I go in about mid May.
