Drove the Mana road. It's a rough one, taking 5 hours to get through. We only saw one other moving vehicle on the entire route. Photo was taken at the trailhead going to the memorial for famed botanist Dr. David Douglas. He died here, either from falling into a cattle pit or first being murdered (I believe this is what happened), and then dumped in it. Mana Road is one of the oldest dirt roads on the Big Island - https://www.dangerousroads.org/north-america/usa/7300-mana-road.html#:~:text=Is%20Mana%20Road%20dangerous%3F,even%20for%20their%204WD%20rentals).

Went to go pick up a '96 tacoma today for a future 3RZ swap in my 4runner. Drove a couple hours to get it, turns out the PO (sellers friend) replaced the engine with a 2RZ at some point. Glad I checked before buying it, but disappointed as it's been hard to find a junker 3rz truck for a reasonable price around here.
