Is 6 full turn onto the OEM lug enough to secure an 11/4 spacer, thats 6 360 turns THEN the impact.

I would not think so. Rule of thumb is that you want atleast as much thread engagement as the fastener diameter. So the studs are 12mmx1.5 thread pitch so you would want a minimum of 12/1.5= 8 threads.

Do you have a picture? Most spacers are not full thickness, they have a pocket for the lug nut that affixes the spacer to the hub and then new lug studs to mount the wheel to. I have a picture of mine, let me see if I can find it.

Aren’t you already running a -30 offset wheel?

@RFB dont use a impact to tighten your wheels you wanna use torque wrench, are you still losing studs and breaking them?

According to landtank(rick) they are nuetrel no offset either way if that makes sense I simply bought the rims they had that would fit 17 in tires.

Rule of thumb in my mechanics book was 1.5x fastener diameter. For a 12mm stud, you'd want 18mm of engagement. That is 12 full threads.

I would not recommend running on only 6 threads. Especially when the design of the hub accounted for a few more than that including some margin for safety

Which 1 1/4" spacers are you running to only have 6 threads? The 1 1/2" Spidertrax have approx. twice that with the 95-97 factory studs.

Sorry to bump this thread, didn't want to make a new post.

I have a 97 LC and want to add 1.25" Wheel Spacers.. Can someone source part number please?

I see on Slee's site the sell 1.5" STF1012

Do I need hubcentric or lugcentric? Thanks
