I want to share a negative experience I had with wheel spacers bought off Amazon. I bought this product here. As to why I bought these vs others - I wanted them quickly and these came with overnight shipping, good reviews and great price. So what could go wrong?!

One of the studs sheared off while driving. I had torqued them to spec of circa 105ft lb. The stud broke after less than a 100 miles or so of onroad driving. Correction - I found the broken off stud/lug nut in my yard. So it must have popped off just after I mounted it.

Supposedly they are 12.9 grade... Not sure about that.

I've ordered these here from Trailgear now, hoping they will be better.

What is the best place to buy quality lug nuts? I'd prefer them in black like the others. I need at least 1 to replace the lost one 🙃

If you want spacers, get the Spidertrax spacers made for our rig. Return those or throw them in the trash. You will thank me later.

Can you point me to the correct version from spidertrax? I was only able to find 1.5" with lug centric, or a few other sizes in hub centric. However it is my understanding that the hub centric ones won't work with my 1993 as they won't clear the hub

Looks great!!

There were 2" spacers on when I bought it, and that was too much. 1" seemed optimal to increase clearance so I'm trying to go with that.
I have different wheels than you so they may have a different offset.
