So many folks have asked about this project in their emails and phone conversations with me.
Mainly because they found a part they didn't know existed as available still from Toyota.
In all honesty, since I have left the dealer world the ability to spends lot of money on a build like my rig has decreased significantly.
I was once month-to-month .... Now I am day-to-day.
Live and learn.
I do intend to continue this build and I hope that it continues to provide an important place where folks can find extant part numbers for their own builds.
That said, I'd like to retire this thread. It was useful for awhile while I had lots of cash to spend on new OEM parts.
I don't much anymore so I will slowly spend time finally finishing this build over the next 6-8 months hopefully.

Not much unfortunately, and the REALLY sad part is probably not much more assembled either, it just seems not many people want "built" trucks.
Go in the 60/62 Classifieds and see what "built" trucks are going for verses clean originals with maintenance.
The problem is a 60/62 is not worth the sum of its parts. If it was in its "all new" condition and assembled but originally like that, you could get $30,000 all day, possibly even on Mud. But the fact that even though it's "molested" even in the best possible way, just slices the value ten-fold. It's the same reason I'll never sell mine, nor be able to. It's just too molested.
And it can't even be test driven.
I think you'll take WAY more of a hit them a gain.
There is one person who I can think of who would pay what it's worth.

Once you put the truck together I'm sure that you can sell it for big $$, but it'd be difficult to get what it's worth before then.

Agree with Johnny, running-driving will fetch the highest $$. However, someone with knowledge of 60s and a little skill in their pocket will snatch this up IMO.
Unless someone has put the effort into a rig like you have, they DO NOT know the value that this rig has.

I say price it high...... don't budge on that price... and continue to whittle on the to-do list... If someone buys it before the list is done GREAT!! if not, finish the rig and raise the price to where the "NON-MUD" crowd will buy it and get the $$ you deserve for it.

Just because a truck has been modified doesn't mean it's not worth big bucks. Take a look at the barret jackson auctions. Most of the LCs that come through there and get 30k+ have been modified in some way.

But I think if you sell it here on mud, someone would pay a respective price given your good documentation. And well your like the OEM parts Santa clause, so there is no question about the quality of the parts that were added to it.

If you really can't finish this, then you will likely get more parting it out. I can't see it going for much if it isn't driving, despite the insane number of new parts. Especially if the dash is still in pieces.
The vast majority of folks buying a new toy want to play with it right away. This is a work in progress, and the world is filled with those.
I can see the complete drivetrain worth some cash, the axles worth some cash, and a bunch of the misc new parts worth a few $$ here and there.
The tragedy is the serious amount of money you are going to loose on all that nice machine work, and tranny/transfer build. Still, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Best of luck with this, I'm sure it isn't an easy decision what to do.

I would say it's best to marker it to the non-mud crowd, from what I have seen, it will go for more, but it will have to be a driver.
