@beno could 90541-03015 also work as bumpers for the center console lid? They look pretty close in size... hole diameter at least. Height, maybe not.

Sorry--my bad--I am sitting in boring meeting texting and MUDDING.

I don't have the OEM console anymore so I am not sure if they would fit. That's some parts investigating on your part.

:)

Fedex brought another little morsel for me this afternoon....

Got a new hood lock cable, only makes sense to have a new Aisin hood lock assy.

Please stop showing these parts!

It's a great sales tactic, btw. You've snagged me a few times in this thread.

No tactic at all. Just trying to show folks what an all OEM build looks like.

In total, maybe five people have contacted me for parts because of this thread.... Hardly a tactic.

Fact of the matter is that no one really wants to pay the premium OEM parts go for. I understand this because that's the nature of the current market on Land Cruiser parts from Toyota.

If I wanted real sales, I'd have part specials and no shipping charges and give stuff away with a stupid discount. That's not good business and I would lose my job.

As @cruiserdan told me many years ago, a sale without a profit is a gift. And while gifts are nice, I am trying to make a living. :)

Love those old school foam coozies.

I'm the second owner of this rig and I am lucky and grateful that Marty (original PO and Norcal denizen) wanted to keep this in the proverbial NorCal family. He knew I would care for this truck.

And that one is still in there from the original PO (who I know and have wheeled with)..... And it is really old school.... Warden's Auto Service in Placerville, CA....

Real old school.

Hands that have worked on this truck before me:

Marty (PO)
MUDRAK
Danny Warden
Earl Warden
Cruiserdrew

And now me.... I'm doing my best to make all of these folks proud of what I has become 30 years after its inception in April.

NO WAY...KEEP SHOWING.....has helped me several times in knowing what I needed to get and for some other parts that I also "needed" but didn't know. :)

I must be one of the 5

Fact of the matter is FJ60 parts (and their production) are finite.

This stuff will soon be gone and everyone will be complaining about Toyota not making parts for their vehicles.

We will be in five years (give or take a few) what FJ55 guys are feeling right now.

I must be one of the 5

Yessir Tom.

As CDAN, again, has always said: feeding Toyota Land Cruisers is not cheap, but the relationship you have with this truck (and the entire worldview around it) will be one of the most satisfying in one's life.

The "tactic" works on me.

Let's add one of those to my quote, if you please.

Dan
