So I'm seriously looking to buy this FJ45 from a guy here locally.
Hes had it for about 12 years and has been slowly restoring it back.
It sat inside a barn the whole time and is completely rust free!
What it has:
Factory power steering
Brand new toyota disc brakes on the front.
Shackle reversal
Motor starts right up and sounds great.
He has extended the cab slightly to give just a bit more room also instead of a back window he added the rear hatch instead so it can swing up?... not sure on it but could be cool I guess?
Interior isn't in yet.
He has every part for this 45 just not pictured.
Only thing that isn't original is the bed which was taken from a toyota pickup.
Has the title.
Also he has 2 sets of fenders. one that is currently setup on the truck is fiberglass and he has a set of steel fenders that have been fixed.. they had some rust.
He is going to include earlier style doors that have no rust on them.
He put 3.70 gears so it would run better on the road.
To me it looks as if the only thing I need to do is paint and put the interior back in along with glass and a roof.
Its in excellent shape. Frame has been cleaned up already and painted and is straight.
Its a nice cruiser and I want to get it for the right price.
What do you guys think?
